This is right around the corner from me and encapsukes everything I love about local businesses. Simple enough eats with some interesting twists. Not too pricy with new interesting specials every few weeks. Quickly, it has become a staple that my family and I visit on a monthly basis.

I've gone in for breakfast and brunch more than a few times. It's cute little laid back place. They always get my bacon right very well done. I'm honestly a little high maintenance when it comes to breakfast I want everything except my toast and pancakes well done. And it's always perfect! My cousin takes the 20 minute ride from JC at least 3 times a month for breakfast.

I challenge anyone to find a better breakfast place. EXCELLENT food, ample parking, great service, more than fair prices. Chicken and waffles is to die for.

We were in the area and came here for breakfast based on the great reviews and delicious looking pictures (also looking to support small local business). Upon arrival there looked to be one waitress serving a group of 4 older men and another 2 people at the counter. We walked in and waited a min or 2 to be acknowledged but never were so we just sat ourselves. The waitress was very friendly with the gentlemen at the other table…laughing, hugging, chuckling etc. but we weren’t even given a “good morning” when she took our order. We ordered the same 2 very simple breakfasts. Soft scrambled eggs homefries and bacon well done and wheat toast with a side of large grits with cheese. I wish I had taken pictures of this amazingly underwhelming display of a breakfast. Just because a customer asks for Homefries and bacon well done does not mean that it should be plunged into a deep fryer. Where were the peppers and onions and the seasoning that I saw the other pictures? The scrambled eggs were never even whisked, just thrown onto a flat top or at least it appeared that way… And the toast was basically warm, tasteless, paper, thin bread. When the grits arrived, it was as if she had taken a scoop from the refrigerator, threw a handful of shredded cheese in it and put it in the microwave for 10 seconds. We attempted to bring them back to life at the table with some half and half and water then asked her if she could make them hot. She disappeared never apologizing never asking how anything was and after about seven or eight minutes we decided to put a 20 on the table and leave.

I came here for a quick brunch with a friend after the gym. FYI it’s BYOB so bring the bubbles! The service was inviting and the staff were very attentive. The quality of the food was good and fresh, with the typical American options. I had the traditional breakfast with the season Lobster Bisque. If you like a thick and creamy soup for sure try the Bisque. The portions are above average and the price is more than reasonable.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Love of Grub, a charming restaurant that specializes in breakfast and brunch, and I can confidently say it was a delightful experience. First and foremost, the staff deserves high praise. From the moment I walked through the door, their friendliness and welcoming smiles set the tone for a memorable meal. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and made me feel right at home. It's not every day you encounter such genuinely warm hospitality, and it made the overall dining experience a welcoming one. The interior of the restaurant was equally enchanting, with a noticeable coastal theme. The decor exuded a cozy, vintage charm with its rustic wooden furniture and an abundance of natural light streaming through the large front windows. It was the kind of place where you could easily spend time savoring your meal, lost in conversation. Now, let's talk about the meal itself—the chicken and waffles. Culinary speaking, it met my expectations, but to be fair, it is hard to mess up a dish like chicken and waffles. The chicken was perfectly fried to a crispy golden brown; it's tender and juicy. I should also mention that you have the option of choosing between regular and spicy, which is a great thing to have because other places tend to make the chicken too bland. The waffles were light, fluffy, and accompanied by a hint of delightful sweetness. The combination of savory and sweet was a true symphony for the taste buds. Next to that, I ordered a glass of whole milk, which was served chilled and complemented the dish impeccably. My visit to this breakfast and brunch gem was a heartwarming experience. The friendly staff, inviting ambiance, and sheer quality of the food made it a memorable culinary adventure. This is one of those places where, if you were to ask the locals where they recommend eating, this would be on their list.

Amazing food and a great, friendly atmosphere. Service is phenomenal and it's a fantastic all around experience. Probably the best chicken avocado sandwich that I've ever had. Highly recommended!

My sister and I ordered delivery. Turkey Club wrap on rye was delicious. Generous portion of tender turkey and bacon. My sister had the cheesesteak and loved it. The roll was nice and chewy. The menu specifically says "hand cut" sweet potato fries. They arrived soggy. The owner explained that keeping fries crisp during the delivery process is impossible and I do agree. However, he told me the fries are NOT hand cut. Then why does it say "hand cut" on the menu? I tried to crisp up the fries in the air fryer but it didn't help. Next time we'll eat in or skip the fries if we're ordering delivery.
