The service was slow at first but it was a very busy night. Once our order was taken it went by faster. The Queso fundido was plentiful and tasted very good. The tacos were ok, they didn't taste bad but they weren't the greatest. However, they were overflowing. If they had just a bit more flavor it would have been perfect. The music is upbeat and keeps you moving in your seat.

Despite this being my first time at this location, I really appreciated how festive the indoor dining experience was. Their service was quick and attentive, while also offering a plethora of Tex-Mex options. I would also say that in general, the ambience was very quick and generally lively. The next time that I go, I definitely want to try more to give a more flavorful review.

My family and I just visited with a party of seven adults and one child on a Saturday night. We were seated promptly and almost immediately Denice came over to introduce herself. From the first few moments of interaction until we left, Denice managed to connect with each and every person at our table; from my elderly parents, to my siblings, and my young niece. All this without slowing down or impeding our actual eating experience. Our food, which was delicious, was delivering quickly and with a smile. Denice was personable, funny, efficient, and knowledgeable; her recommendations were spot on. From now on we will be asking to be seated in her section. The General Manager was also a great experience. He was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. After introducing himself, he took his time to make sure our experience was wonderful and surpassed our expectations. With people like Denice and Rob, you'll absolutely love your experience.

Just ate here with a large party of 8 and the service was absolutely incredible! The hostesses seated us promptly and our waitress Denise was absolutely wonderful. She was the friendliest server we could have asked for and very prompt in taking our orders and bringing our food which was excellent. I will be recommending Tio's to my friends and family. The ambiance was just friendly all around. I am very pleased with my experience.

Me and friends visited for the first time despite the bad reviews. I felt bad because I subjected my friends to this place because I wanted to try something new. We sat around the bar last night for drinks. Waited a long time but we were in a good mood and patient before we were finally greeted with the bartender's attitude and over the top sassiness which put us into a bad mood. Wanted to like him because he was gay, loved his nails, but even our gay friends there were shocked at his unnecessary attitude. We tried to justify it that maybe he was just joking but just couldn't. A few of us have worked in the food industry and agreed he was very unprofessional. He made us feel like we should have been thankful to be giving him service and like we were an inconvenience. People go out to be tended to, that's the whole point of a bartender. We all have long days working and the least we could get is some relaxation when we go out. At the bars we like, we would normally order a few drinks and are good tippers but we got one drink each, tipped 15% only, left and decided we are never coming back here. If anybody asks me if they should go here for drinks, I'd say, only if you want to pay to feel like unwelcome guests in someone's negative home. If their management chose this guy to work for them, then that is how they are representing themselves. It's too bad because we really wanted to like this place and would have even tried their food if it weren't for the bad impression this left and ruining our moods.

I have very few positive things to say about the food. It seems their logic in all of their recipes is “sugar + lime + salt = good”. Tacos were slathered in overly sweet, acidic sauces and toppings. They were a dripping wet mess, completely erasing the taste of the meats, which should always be the focus of a taco, in my opinion. Points for the house made tortillas - good flavor and texture. Guacamole was fresh, but had way too much lime, as well as the chips, which were seasoned with a Tajin-like seasoning. I’m personally not a fan but it wasn’t terrible.Service was great, margarita was good too.

Could be a little pricey but worth the quality food - could get super busy at times when understaff but the servers and bartenders are very hard working and dedicated to customer satisfaction. The drinks are good, has a nice relaxed vibe with good music. The decor is minimal but I'm no there for the decorations. I'm there for a great dining experience with whoever I am with - experiencing quality service, good food, and atmosphere.

Went on a Friday night with friends. We each had different dinners and cocktails. The guacamole was delicious! Our server was amazing! She had helpful suggestions and was attentive. My fiancée and I stopped by Tio Taco Tequila Bar when we were starving and the food was fantastic. Our waitress was super kind and attentive, our food came out very fast. We got the nachos with ground beef to start and they were Ah-MAZING. Loaded with cheese, and the chips were super warm and crispy. I ordered the skirt steak which was one of the most flavorful and juicy steaks I've ever had. Most steakhouses charge double the price for their steaks that don't taste half as good. The steak came with plantains that were sooo good and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. As a Jamaican who eats plantains religiously, these were also some of the best I'd ever had. My fiancée ordered the chicken wings and let me try one, they were also amazing. They were crispy and coated in a sweet yet savory sauce that was out of this word. If you're in the neighborhood, definitely check this place out!
