Simply put. Best Street tacos in the TriState area. Tacos are always loaded down and pair great with your favorite cold cerveza. I can always find them in front on the Family Dollar on York.

Not sure why this place rates so high. Sure, it's nicely decorated. Staff was great. But the reason you go to a restaurant is for great food. And either I ordered the wrong item, or other reviewers have not been to Los Chiletos .
The Pico de Gallo was better. The chips, better. But my Carnitas Burrito. Just so so. 1st the consistency of the rice is weird. Puffy, yet grainy. But more importantly. When you order a Carnitas Burrito you expect to get some pork in it. This was truly where's the pork. It had just strings of pulled pork throughout the Burrito.
Los Chiletos, you get chunks of pulled pork, throughout the Burrito. And they way they marinate it is outstanding. Always juicy.
My wife, got pork tacos and said the exact same thing about the rice and lack of meat.
Will go again, but will have to get something different. Maybe a Steak Fajitas.
You want pork. Go to Los Chiletos.

The place looks nice. But they messed up my order 3 TIMES!!!! I ordered a burrito without pico and guacamole since it has tomato's and onions (not a big fan of them). I asked to add just avocado. The 1st try they added guacamole. Fine. I said can they fix it. They made a whole new one. And still do the same mistake. So by then my dad was finished with his meal. So I just said make my 3rd one to go. And I came home after leaving my dad at the airport since we were passing thru. And open the burrito and seen that they still screwd it up. The people were cool. But they can't make a simple burrito and when they do. They still screw it up. 3 TIMES. I'm a picky guy but I did request very clearly and still they messed it up. So I lost my money.

Tasty, fresh and clean tasting food. Not at all greasy. Delicious homemade sauces on the side and a lovely bowl of fresh tomato salsa with chips. I highly recommend. Service was great.

So, even though I was born in Jersey & lived 26 years in Manhattan & the last year in Jersey City, I know good Mexican food.
This is GREAT Mexican food!! The molé sauce is perfect for the cheese enchiladas & the beef tacos my girlfriend had bowled her over. The chips are fresh & warm…and the pico de gallo hit the spot, too!
PS: Their homemade taco sauces - verde & rojas - were stellar, too!!

Wow is all I can say. People are super nice and will give recommendations on your order. The specials were great. I got the fajita chicken salad and my wife got the mole chicken both were the best Mexican food I have ever had. Will stop here again!
A pretty authentic place with good food. I usually get the torta and enchiladas in mole sauce. Horchata is pretty good too.

Very cute and casual Mexican restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. We ranged in age from 9 to 70 and we all enjoyed our food. There is something for everyone, I highly recommend.
