Repeat customers. Traditional and American. Food and service are pricey but very good. The Tiramisu (Luigis') is a Must Get.
The bread was awful and the restaurant a little pricey since everything is ala carte the baked seafood was delicious and the filet was cooked perfectly but again the bread was awful and to charge for bread is ridiculous when paying ala carte
Food was delicious! I had the honor of Kara waiting on me. She was superbly attentive and accommodating. She only works occasionally since having her baby. I hope she could work more often since she is one of my favorite waitresses. I want to also commend Manager Chrissy and Hostess Dee for a job well done. I appreciate them treating me like royalty!
I was very disappointed was here last year it was wonderful. My boyfriend's prime rib was all fat he should have returned it. I loved the Beef Wellington last time. This time, it was dry and not as good. The bread and butter was the highlight. Unfortunately, I will not return or recommend.
Everything was great! Food and service amazing! Waitress had an issue with wine we ordered but came over and was honest and up front. It was much appreciated! Will be back!
Service was top notch. Filet was ordered medium rare, was served medium. Three of us ordered this and got the same temp. But overall very enjoyable and a nice night out.
One of our favorite restaurants. Wish they would put a few more items which were removed from menu . Love the fireplace and the cozy ambiance of the Clinton house
We visited Clinton House for my husband's birthday today. The service was very good, the ambience was awesome, the food was excellent, although we wish it could be a little less pricey but excellent none the less. The only small negative thing is our baguette was a bit over toasted. We will come back because the other items were excellent.
My wife and I have eaten at the Clinton House for over 30 years. Every order was delightful.

Very overpriced for what they offer. Bill should be 40%-50% less for the quality of food provided here. I’d recommend many other establishments that provide quality food and drinks more reasonably priced.

On Main Street in Clinton,NJ , in a historic Inn is the Clinton House.
Nicely maintained with old world ambience. The food was above average as well. My wife and I tried the dry aged steak with Bleu cheese topping and the Filet mignon with mushrooms and a side of wild rice. Both prepared to our liking. Definitely would recommend trying this place for a good meal.
Beautiful establishment, friendly and attentive staff.

Tucked away in the small but, right off the highway, town of Clinton NJ, Clinton House is a special Gem.
Our waitress was absolutely phenomenal, gave us great insight into how each item we inquired about was prepared… a Saturday night well spent.
We had began with crab cakes with a delectable Demi sauce! Some fries prepared from mushrooms (we did forget to ask what type of mushrooms, but assuming a wild mushroom medley).
My good friend ordered the dry aged strip steak medium rare; came out perfectly seared and cooked.
I ordered the filet, medium (yes I know sacrilege) but both steaks we wound up actually sharing! Absolutely delectable!
We skipped a standard desert and got the lobster cocktail for a little indulgence.
Drinks were phenomenal. I was really wish I would remember to write down a good recommended wine, but we had a Cabernet that I will inquire about with the waitress when we inevitably go back!
The place can be a little cramped, not a fault of the owners/establishments, but in general overall a wonderful place for a special occasion!
