The food is consistently good, we had the prime rib, lobster tails and grilled salmon. Service is a little slow but it was prime time Sat night. Pricey but good local choice for a special occasion.

Disappointing, 2 ppl eggs Benedict dishes served cold potatoes. When asked to warm them up they took the entire dishes and resubmitted to kitchen and took 15 minutes to bring back to table of seven people, potatoes were warmed but eggs were not satisfactory. While the servers were kind and very nice, one said sorry for the delay cause the kitchen was backed up, but the restaurant was nearly empty. Will not be a return customer.
This was our first time eating here and I don't know why we waited so long! First of all, it's a beautiful restaurant. It's also very cozy and romantic. We were seated near the bar but it was not distracting. All of the food was delicious and big portions! The drinks were great too. Luigi was our server and was very attentive to our every need. Order Luigi's tiramisu, it was the best we've been tried! It's the week before Halloween and a guy dressed like a zombie walked by our table at one point which was so fun! I can't wait to go back!

The Clinton House has very good food and is widely known for having the best steaks around. Order a steak and you will not be disappointed! Their food is always fresh, hot and beautifully presented. There is plenty of on-street parking in front of their restaurant and on the street across from the restaurant towards the falls. There is also a free parking lot across the street from the restaurant. They have a solid base of local clientele for lunch, dinner and drinks; which says a lot.
