Amazing service and terrific food but the best part was when the gm Christa went out of her way to visit with every table on a super busy night.

Chris, our server, was excellent, making food recommendations and frequently coming to our table for follow up. We started with shared appetizers of fried calamari and whipped ricotta with fig jam and crostini. Both were delicious. My linguine with succulent clams in white wine and garlic/EVOO was very tasty and the portion size was plentiful, so much so that I had to take some home with me.

This place was unfortunately a let down. The food was very mediocre for the price and the service was just okay.

What the hell happened to this place? Very disappointing food and management.
Bistro Di Marino in Collingswood used to be our favorite restaurant; we’ve been here many times and recommended it to many friends in the past. Our last two visits were very disappointing with our final visit on 10/29/2024 being extraordinarily bad. My wife was treating us to our anniversary dinner. We waited 30 minutes after ordering for a waiter to apologize that they very short staffed and they were out of the appetizer we ordered as well as several other items but we could choose any other app on the house, the app we chose was ok but now as described as it missing half the ingredients. We waited another long wait for our entrees while listening to loud profanities coming from the kitchen staff which I can only guess was because they were out of several items as well as being short staffed, was an actual cook even there? My entrée was ok but my wife’s was disappointing to the point of her not even taking her leftovers home. We figured out on the way home it was because the asparagus was missing with spinach substituted. (I can only imagine if someone had dietary restrictions as they were substituting items without mentioning it)We were pretty much ignored as far as water refills and such. When our bill finally came we were charged for our original, more expensive choice of appetizer. My wife had to chase down the waiter to straighten that out, just the way we wanted to spend our Anniversary!
We became pretty irate as we discussed the expensive disappointing evening on our ride home so I called the manager the next day to give them a chance to redeem themselves before writing a scathing review. The Manager, Ed said it was a “bad night” and begged me to give them another chance, when I said oh sure, we’ll come in and spend our money again to see if you can do better. He offered to reimburse us with a gift card and took our info. A week and a half went by with no gift card so I called them again fairly angry that I had to do that and spoke to a different manager named Christa who apologized again and promised it would be sent that day. Well it’s been another two weeks and still no gift card. I guess they no longer care about their reputation, I’m not lowering myself to call them again. We will not be back and will certainly not be recommending them anymore. It’s a shame, this used to be our go to restaurant but they have gone severely downhill since Jim is no longer there every day

Nice place (BYOB) to dine. Food was decent and had plenty of seating. Only had 2 issues, service was slower than normal and they were not able to supply my table with cloth napkins. We went on a busy night but that doesn't excuse my 2 issues. I've been to many places that were busy and was accommodated.

Food was amazing! Awesome vibe. Nice staff. The entry is confusing, we tried like 2 doors to get in. We saw lots of confused guests trying to get in. My daughter and I got our dessert, and my fiance didn't get his dessert until we were done because the waiter did not write down our orders and forgot his tiramisu, and It was a long wait to get it, we almost said never mind because we had a show to go to. Other than that I would highly recommend the restaurant.

I don't usually give a negative response, but this is earned. No lemon for water. Bread is wafer thin and somewhat stale. There are no pepper rings in the Calamari as described. No dipping marinara sauce either. Very dry. Service was slow at best. Seemed only 1 server? Main course was fine, but overall, it was not as good as other visits. Not on their game.

We dined there for a friend's birthday dinner. A party of 15. We did have to wait some time to be seated but it was relatively a short wait pass our resv time.
The food was delicious and the portions were huge! Looking forward to returning!

Amazing place from the moment you walk in up until you leave. The GM Christa was so nice. She runs this restaurant great and was nice to speak with and was the biggest reason I’ll return. The filet was the best meal I’ve had in years. Thanks for an amazing atmosphere and dinner.

As parents, when we get a rare date night, we hope to have a special night out. We chose Bistro di Marino because they had a ricotta fall appetizer that sounded amazing. When we sat down, service was slow but we ordered our appetizers and entrees at the same time. We waited about 30-45 and we were wondering how a ricotta appetizer could take so long. During this time fruit flies were flying around us and landed in our wine. When our entree pastas came out we were upset and asked about our appetizer. The waiter apologized because he never put it in the system and said dessert was on the house. We feel like we were an afterthought as a table because of the large parties around us. It was so disappointing because we have had great experiences here in the past. The food was good, but not as good as I remember it being 4 years ago. We will not be returning to the Collingswood location and we hope that the Washington Twp location hasn’t changed in the past year.
