I’m not going to lie, I’ve been going to cake boss in Marlton for all of my sons birthday cakes but this year he ended up battling some unexpected health concerns that resulted in a hospital stay close to his birthday that we didn’t get to order a cake in time. I still have them the benefit of that doubt and went to them anyways but they said they weren’t able to make the cake idea we wanted a reality due to the short notice. Not because they were booked but because it wasn’t enough time to let the fondant dry? They offered an edible print out of Lego Marvel on a round cake and were charging $179 due to the fact it was still considered “custom.” My son had went through a lot being sick and doing a cool cake every year I just wasn’t ready to give in that quickly and automatically thought of DiBartolo’s. Thank God I did because not only did they bring the vision to life, they exceeded my expectations and were so pleasant and professional to deal with. My son and family absolutely loved it! Added bonus, it was less than they were over charging me for an edible printed picture they call a “custom cake.” Safe to say I’ll be going to DiBartolo’s for my sons birthday cakes from now on! Thank you for making his birthday special.

I purchased the football shaped and decorated Eagles cake for Super Bowl Sunday 02/12/23. It was top covered with 5 inch thick sugary chocolate icing with a few lines of white icing with periphery of about 2 inch thick green sugary icing on the base. This was by far the worst cake my family and I ever tasted: It was advertised to be their "famous pound cake with buttercream frosting" whereas it was actually a very dry, tasteless yellow cake drowning in sickening sugary icing. The cake itself was small with mounds of icing. I removed the icing hoping it would be more edible. It was not sad to say. At a cost of $27.00, it was discarded in the trash replaced by a cake doubled its size bought at a local supermarket at the cost of $12.00 that was delicious! I cannot recommend DiBartolo Bakery in Collingswood, NJ.

This place is horrible. We ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday. We were assured it wouldn't be a problem. When my wife went to pick it up the cake the icing was not smoothed over properly. There were craters in it and when it was addressed there was a lot of attitude. We eventually got the cake to my daughter's party and found the cake under the icing was burned. You could taste the burn and it was dry. The icing was the best part of the cake. This was the worst cake I have ever had from a professional bakery. I will never do business with them again and I would suggest this place to anyone.

When I picked my cake up it had craters in the icing like you would see on the moon. I ask them if they could smooth the top of the cake and they gave me lots of attitude. There’s more. When I cut and served the cake several of my guess told that it taste burnt and and it was dry. This was hands down the worst cake that I have EVER gotten from a bakery. Not only was the decor bad but the taste was awful. I do not recommend this bakery.

Uncle Mike is such a good baker. And the cakes are pretty too! Butter cake is my favorite! And the almond cookies, and the cream puffs. It's all good!

Their cake was a delight - soft, moist but not too heavy. The whipped cream is great. I bought their cassata cake and it tasted wonderful.HOWEVER!!!Their wait staff left a lot to be desired.The cake clearly marked $6.00. When checking out, I was charged $7.00 for the cake. I asked the wait staff why it was charged differently, she said it was a “premium cake”. It’s not a big deal in the dollar amount but this is an issue with integrity. Either they didn’t price the cake correctly, or they intentionally tried to fraud their customers.The wait staff also left a piece of cake on the counter and then used her hands (without glove or any types of tools) to put it back to the display. This should be a health code violation (because she was the one who handled the transaction with her hands processing my credit card).Again, the cake was great but their wait staff was horrible. That is a shame that one person can diminish the shopping experience.

I’m so happy that my colleague recommended this place bcoz I don’t like the American ones which are too sweet with hard cream. This one is outstanding in a high scale area. Will come back for my friend’s birthdays! Love love love ❤️❤️❤️

Al and his team did an incredible job of baking and decorating our dream wedding cake. Not only did it look beautiful, but it was absolutely delicious! Our guests loved it so much that we didn’t have 1 slice left after our big day. Al was also very kind and accommodating when we had our consultation. He generously provided our gluten free cake, as we have many gluten allergies in the family, which was just as incredible, for free!
DiBartolo’s did a fabulous job for my daughter’s birthday. We had a vision of what we wanted and they far exceeded our expectations. The cake was a masterpiece and absolutely delicious!! Thank you for all of your efforts and wonderful service.

Was so disappointed in this bakery. Ordered a graduation cake for my daughter. With all instructions like, colors to be used, what should be written on the cake etc, they offered a cake with a completely different color. I had to go home without a cake for them to change the color to what I chose. So disappointed. They had instructions but didn't follow. So terrible. I regret everything.

I ordered a cannoli cake and cupcakes for my daughter's law school graduation. They were incredibly tasty. The cake was moist and the icing perfectly sweet. We live far away but would travel there for any parties in the future!! For sure.
