The food was mostly phenomenal. The steak unfortunately was a tad overcooked. The one couple seated next to us were very annoying, the guy “corrected” the waitress multiple times. And unfortunately we’re having very unpleasant conversation in general. I tried to tune the male out but unfortunately due to the close proximity it was impossible to do so. The female was also making very snarky comments about others appearances.
The carpaccio and cavatelli were out of this world. The fregola was really good too. The chorizo in it reminds me of the salchichón my mom used in her spanish rice. I wanted to like the tuna more but it was okay. Had a Branzino to share, I was stuffed but had to have the dessert. The keylime special and the olive oil cake were both really good. The most incredible place around! Not only was each course of food fantastic but the staff and service made this not just a restaurant with great food but a place with the whole package. The flow and choreography of the staff between courses was amazing. It felt like everything was timed. Someone would clear your plates, then moments later someone comes and cleans your table and asks how everything was, then right after someone gives you new silverware - the timing of everything...
