Been going to Sagami for over 40 years. Yup 40! Grew up on sushi here. Learned about sushi here. Fell in love with sushi here and it’s here they make some of the best sushi and have servers who get to know you and have been here as long as you have been going. Every time you go you’re welcomed in and enjoy your meal. You will love the freshness and the quality of everything you get.
Came here for my birthday dinner and had an absolutely lovely evening! I’ve been wanting to come here for a while and the wait didn’t disappoint. We ordered the pork gyoza and the spicy salmon with crispy rice for appetizers, both delicious. For sushi, we ordered a salmon avocado roll, a spicy salmon roll, a tuna scallion roll, and salmon nigiri. The quality of the fish was absolutely incredible, fresh and melt in your mouth. Sagami is a long-established, authentic Japanese restaurant, specializing in sushi and sashimi. I don't know if they even offer cooked dishes at all because I never even look, the sushi is that good. They generally have uni (sea urchin) and fatty tuna (ororo), which I had never seen before (in 30 years of enjoying sushi). If you like sushi, go here. It's also BYO, so bring the good sake.
