This is an absolutely AMAZING sweet spot!! We came for a 5 year old Birthday Girl celebration. The staff went above and beyond helping us set up a very special surprise, complete with helium for our balloons and extra decorations! I would recommend anyone looking for a unique and happy experience to stop in visit!!

Fun, diner-like atmosphere and food - and as a new jersey, that is a compliment. Enjoyed my time there with a very large party, which was handled efficiently with very friendly service. Would come back when in the area.
It's hard to choose from their menu bc almost everything makes your mouth drool. They have a ton of grilled cheese sandwiches to choose from. The honeymoon chicken is one of my favorites. I love their fries. Save room for dessert. So many milkshakes to choose from.

The food was good. My family and I, "were" going to get dessert. However, the owners child (maybe 12 years old) decided it was okay to reach his bare hands in the ice cream toppings bins to make his own dessert. Disgusting!!!!!!

I was humiliated at lunch with others when I was initially given no option when I asked for a separate check so to be able to pay separate. We had mixed payment sources. Only to be told finally that my payment could be made separate. I am older, and I’ve dined out for over 40 years, and I knew it could be done. That’s all I wanted to do initially, instead we all were made uncomfortable, a big deal was made, and I was embarrassed almost to tears in front of colleagues.Finally, the manager nicely handled it, when I brought the table check up for my amount to be deducted. The waitress behaved rudely, in that after the manager settled me out and I was waiting for the table check for the balance and requested the remainder of the check for the table, and she acknowledged my request, she walked by me standing waiting for her to give me the check and apparently purposefully avoided giving me the check. I was waiting to take the check balance back to the group at the table being I was taking care of the matter with the manager.I had started this post, but was going to not submit the low rating after the manager handled the matter, but later decided that the low rating for service stands (which lowered the atmosphere and overall rating) because of the apparent rudeness of the waitress at the end, which compounded my feeling of embarrassment and humiliation.

This was my first time ever at the Pop Shop and what an incredible experience! I decided to take my boyfriend and parents for Superbowl Sunday, and we had such a wonderful time. The service was excellent, the food delicious, and the atmosphere is so nostalgic. We all had the Valentine's Sweetheart menu, and I absolutely loved the vegan mushroom burger. You also have to get their pretzel chips! Definitely coming back.Parking: I parked behind the stores near the PATCO station and parking was really easy. I paid 50 cents an hour, but if you want to park closer to the high speed line entrance, parking is usually free.

I brought my family in today and my poor 2 1/2 year-old grandson was not happy waitress and staff was very kind to us. We wind it up getting our food to go. I did not get the waitresses name and I feel sad about that but she was very helpful to us, maybe next time will be able to stay a little bit longer, but my family enjoyed taking the food home while they were there they had some milkshakes which they loved. Thank you for putting up with us.

Great, standard American flair. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The pancakes were sooo good, which they are known for. Try the pancake fries appetizer! Tatertots were just meh, like from a bag. Overall food was solid 4-stars.Service was very friendly but lackluster. Long wait to get seated, even though there were plenty of empty tables. Assuming they didn't have the staff to handle it, but the staff weren't exactly moving quickly. We never got offered a coffee refill after 45 mins. They all seemed young and untrained, which is never a good sign. Poor pay? Friendly but amateur.The atmosphere was awful. They definitely cater to families, which is great, but so many parents these days don't correct or teach their kids any manners. And they bring everything but the kids' potty with them into a restaurant. Kids were running around, spilling drinks, throwing food, coming up to our table, some had their tablets or smartphones on with loud movies. It was a pathetic scene of pathetic parenting raising spoiled children with no manners. And the staff, of course, did nothing. It's not Chuck E Cheese people (or maybe it is). Because of that, we will not go back. Maybe try later in the day, if you want to avoid spoiled children.
