First time I went to the Colts Neck general store was 53 years ago as a kid , it's good to see the time has not changed it at all ?

Unbelievable. I sent my 10 year old daughter into the store today. She asked the clerk politely where is the bathroom and the clerk said, "Sorry, it's for customers only." How is she going to assume that we are not customers and tell a child "No"?? My daughter came out to the truck upset, telling me that she wasn't allowed to use the bathroom. I then called the store and asked if she really just told a 10 year old girl that she couldn't use the bathroom. The clerk replied that she has had damage from people using the bathroom. "WHAT?!" I said. So, 1 you are firstly assuming that we are not customers 2 you are telling a 10 year old girl that she cannot use the bathroom, and 3. you are suggesting that my 10 year old girl is going to vandalize your bathroom? Seriously???Very poor judgment you just lost any future business with us and left a lasting impression.

Local family owned business that makes you feel welcome. When you are dining in, it's as if you are in your own dining room. People chit-chat with each other, and you are made to feel at home.Kid-friendliness: They did breakfast with Santa that day. Very busy and my sandwiches were ready to go when I arrived.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lip at the ramp that needs to be smoothed out so electric wheelchairs can enter. Smaller wheelchairs can be "bumped over" by tipping them, but that would be difficult for the heavier electric ones.
