Don’t allow children. We went on a Wednesday night at 7 pm. Only 2 tables in there and we were told we weren’t welcome with a 2 month old. So we will never be back and we will never go to their other restaurants. Grit and Grain and the Local, both in Richmond Hill. I will be telling everyone I know to avoid these establishments. It’s also borderline discriminatory to refuse service because you have children.

This place seems to be confused about itself. Bakery, but none of their offerings ever look appealing enough to purchase. The bagel/breakfast are slightly better. Comes down to presentation, and walking into this place you can see that it's severely lacking.

Busy, not as many choices as advertised, bagel is always fresh. Plenty of cream cheese in your toasted bagel.

Waste of time. Staff are clueless in the morning. Waited 25 minutes for a bagel with butter then when it's time to pay the staffs oblivious and pacing back and forth explaining an order to the cook repeatedly. Put the food back and left. Never returning. Completely down hill with the new owners.

The bagel with porkroll egg cheese is rubbish, they don't clean the griddle to fry it, the eggs come out rusty, it's disgusting, the cooks are useless

If you like stale croissants and below par bagels, this is the place for you. The croissant seemed like an old packaged croissant. The bagel was ok, but have had better ones from Acme. On top of that I only made a purchase and was asked if I wanted to put a tip on top of my payment. I won't be back.

Was in recently for a breakfast sando since my (more) local spot was closed. Fantastic sausage, egg & cheese on an everything bagel. Staff was very friendly and the inside was very welcoming, with a surprising amount of seating...almost had me just sit and eat there rather than take it home. Will definitely be back!

Parking: Big parking lot. You won't be looking for spots.

Pathetic service. Waited 10 minutes for my bagel order to be taken when there was hardly any crowd around noon. Waited another 15 minutes but they didn’t prioritize my order. Had to walk out after wasting 30 minutes.

I have been going there every week for about 1 year. The service and selection has drastically declined. They never have any bagels and the girl that works behind the counter is not friendly and acts as if she is doing me a favor. After today, I do not plan on going back. They had no bagels, I asked if they would be available tomorrow and her answer, "We don't know yet if we will even be open tomorrow" Its a shame, as my daughter really likes the bagels there.
