The food here is good, fresh and is made with care. The staff are polite and helpful. The reason for only giving 2 stars is the unbearable heat inside the store. They either dont have AC or wont turn it on. If its 85F outside, I dont want to sit down and eat hot soup and a sandwich and have the temperature be the same inside! Happy to change the rating if the AC gets turned on!

The food and service are very good however it feels like the entire restaurant is an oven! Felt like it was 90°f. I will not come back here or recommend it to my friends until the temperature is more comfortable. I dont want the staff to sweat into my food.

Stopped in this morning for a jalapeño omelet and a coffee. The coffee wasn’t anything special but got the job done and the omelet was pretty decent. The service was excellent and the guy who helped me was very attentive and helpful.

Thank you Mr Dylan and Mr Niko for the exceptional service! I am familiar with the Princeton location and stumbled upon the Cranbury one as I got lost on my way back to Plainsboro. My first time, Mr Dylan was incredibly helpful, kind and welcoming. He took time to walk me through the different vegetarian options, making recommendations even though I didn't get anything. I just wanted to browse and he encouraged me to come back, giving me a menu to take with me. Since then, I've been coming quite regularly this summer. I've loved everything I've ordered especially the veggie burger and falafel wrap. Mr Dylan had me try the Ceci soup today and it was also fantastic. Thank you for always being so kind to your patrons! Lastly, the space is so beautiful, the flowers outside, and I absolutely love the mural with Princeton and Cranbury landmarks.

I would have given a 5 star rating, but my TAVO, which as the name implies and the list of ingredients indicate, there is supposed to be avacado on the sandwich. There was NONE. It was my first time there and I will try it again and mention the absence of avacado.

Very tasty sandwiches. I ordered my sandwich at the wrong location online and when I reached the place, the staff was super nice to place a reorder at this location and cancel the other one (plus refund). Nice cozy place to sit and eat too.

The food was great, and the menu had lots of great options! However, we were very disappointed with the way one of the staff members treated a fellow worker. Not sure if she was the manager, but she used an extremely demeaning tone and choice of words toward the young man working the cash register. He was extremely pleasant and helpful, but the woman with the blonde ponytail was outwardly unkind to him. He was just trying to do his job, and was met with disrespect. The manager ended up coming to our table to deliver some food, and muttered under her breath, “He’s acting like it’s his first day here.” While that was obviously unkind and untrue, it was also incredibly distasteful to say in front of a customer. Would love to come back, but want to make sure that everyone is being treated with the utmost respect and friendliness.

Was extremely excited to try there lobster biques when I got home to eat it I was extremely disappointed. There's no lobster even in it all biques. For the price of a large which is almost 2o dollers it's kinda ridiculous.i could have gotten somthing better from shoprite. I can't bring back if I already ate it, I put the crackers in then realized.

THE AMBIENCE: Happy energy, Casual ambience, Cute heart-warming decor and messaging on walls and counter. Great music! Cute outdoor patio with tables and a garden.

THE SERVICE: Some staff members were friendly and cordial, some were serious & on task/professional…smiling more esp with first-time guests would improve service tremendously!

THE PRICE: a bit Pricier than run-of-the-mill soup and sandwich places, but 100% well worth the price!!!

Visiting Cranbury from out of town we try to stop by Princeton Soup and Sandwich as often as possible. A delicious cup of hot soup on a cold wintry day hit's the spot! As has previously been mentioned, they go to great lengths to protect those of us with food allergies and to prepare wholesome nutritious foods. I especially enjoy their gluten free Focaccia bread!

I have patronized PS&S in the Princeton location myself and just utilized their catering service from the Cranbury location this week. The food is tasty and the menu expansive. As someone with extensive allergen needs, they are one of the few restaurants I can trust. Not only for myself, but when our catering order needed extensive and complicated allergen free items, they were so helpful and positive and absolutely went the extra mile to make sure everyone was safe. Thanks to Lisa, Alex, Nico and everyone!

Also, my father said it was the best soup he'd ever had - which is saying something. And a few colleagues said it was the best Mac and Cheese they'd ever had.

The chicken dumpling soup is fantastic! Please have this available more often!
