The best neighborhood staple ever. I've been coming here for over 30 years. George is carrying on Teddy's legacy. This is one of those places that exist in the movies, but in real life. I love it here..thanks for the food and vibes

Feels like back to the 50’s in all the best ways
Family owned second generation
Erica is an outstanding server! She knows everything about the menu, history of the restaurant as well as the town. She make an enjoyable lunch even better!

Let me start by saying, food is good. That’s not the issue. Annie, is amazing. She was so sweet and caring. The main woman and male owner decided to FIGHT with their staff multiple times. The gentleman training Annie was incredibly abusive toward her. Yelled at her quite a bit. The owners fighting the staff made it very uncomfortable for us to finish our food…
It was a very poor experience. I used to visit Teddy’s a couple times every week when I worked in the area from the 1980’s up until the early 2000’s. The original owner knew how to run and operate a business:

I was traveling from Washington DC to Nyack New York and stopped in into a quaint little town , the experience was awesome! The food was so good and the staff was family and nice and friendly.
Always get a good meal George has upped his game
Had breakfast with my niece for the first time. I ordered waffles and crispy bacon; they came out perfectly! My niece ordered pancakes, eggs and bacon, which she enjoyed.
Parking: We went on a weekday. My niece said it is hard to get parking during the weekend, and they are very busy.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp into the restaurant, but there is a steep incline.

Cute little diner, perfect for sitting and chatting.
I got the waffle with 2 sunnyside eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns. The only reasons it wasn't 5 stars was because the food did take a while to come out, and I was expecting the hashbrowns to be a typical diner style. Instead I got hashbrown patties like from mcdonalds. Oh also I didn't see any real maple syrup:(
The service was lovely though! Check it out if you're around.
