We had a lovely family dinner at the Cranbury Inn on Independence Day. I had the French Onion Soup and the Prime Rib. Both were excellent. On that occasion we appreciated the portraits of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin.
We had a very nice experience for Father's Day. The service was excellent and the food was delicious.
Enjoyed a Wonderful Father's Day Brunch with family. Service and Food were good. Will keep this place in mind for future Brunches
Excellent service and good food. Very accommodating for our large party. Would come back again.
While the food was good, there wasn't a huge selection for the Mother's Day Brunch. We have been there before for Mother's Day and they had an unbelievable spread. This time around we felt that they lessened the choices to add more seating. The waitstaff seemed overwhelmed but did their best. It was also very loud in the room and a bit chaotic when going up for food. The area where they had the buffet was near the entrance and small. We were disappointed.
We have come to Cranbury Inn for Mother's Day, Christmas Brunch with Santa, and Christmas dinner. This was the first time they just let us sit there for about 15 minutes, no one came to wait on us, we had to flag a waitress down to order something to drink until finally our waiter came. He was kind and courteous. It's expensive for brunch but it seems all the places for Mother's Day was expensive. All In all I know we will be back. Thank you. Lisa Gessert
I took my wife for Mother's Day brunch. Our teenage son and 2 year old daughter were with us. The food was great, the server was polite and attentive and they even had milk for our little girl. I highly recommend.
If you don't want energetic levels of ambient sound, simply go on a weeknight. But do go! Very good menu selections, and over-the-top desserts, if you like that sort of thing. More Revolutionary War treatments in the same-era building than a history buff could enjoy in one seating. Any friendly to ALL who come in! Loved it. Going back ASAP!
My friend and I had a lovely brunch. Espresso Martinis (who knew they were a good brunch accompaniment - they did) and sandwiches (turkey club for friend and bacon/egg/cheese for me). I am not a huge tater-tot fan, but theirs were super crispy and tasty. It also has what seemed to be a popular local bar and a little shop. Loved it.
Food was very good and at a reasonable price. Service was good as well. I will return in the near future.

Promptly seated. Good service. Tasty salad, shrimp cocktail, quesadilla and burger. Pleasant evening.
It was going back in time. Loved the atmosphere. Food was excellent and the service was good. Only downside was the noise level was somewhat loud. Overall a very pleasing experience. I will be going back.
Excellent service and delicious, perfectly prepared food. The best wine deals in NJ! The staff works seamlessly as a team to create an outstanding dining experience.
Not prepared for Valentines Day. Way overbooked. We were put in some upstairs overflow area overlooking the liquor store. Not very romantic. Took a while to even set the tables. We left without ordering. Very disappointing.
Very busy on Valentine's Day, but they handled it well! We waited at the bar and had a drink before our table was ready. We sat upstairs where it was quiet and very pretty! Great service, delicious food (we had the surf & turf special), and took our dessert home as the food portion was quite large. Also, Shray in the liquor store portion of the establishment was very knowledgeable and so kind. Looking forward to our next visit!
