I had the chicken pho, spring rolls and tried the egg coffee and regular Vietnamese coffee. Absolutely amazing coffee. I’ll be going back for sure and learn how to make it. Good prices, quality food, friendly staff. Highly recommend

I can't speak for the other reviewers who said the pho was bland or premade. Sounds like a hater to be honest! I really enjoyed my meals at V-Town and the woman who worked at the register was very nice and friendly. So here's my review from an uncultured American:

Dining Experience:
V-Town's aesthetic has some cute wall decorations and the latest point of sale technology for paying with card or cash. However, the tables and chairs are typical of chinese takeout places. So this isn't a place with super fancy decorations or mood lighting, it's functional with some music in the background, cool wall decorations, and of course you have to have the toy cat that waves.

There is not a lot of staff here, which makes it seem like this is a very small operation. But the people who are working there clearly work very hard.

The Food:
So, I actually discovered V-Town on Doordash and it was super cold out so I wanted something to warm me up. I got the pho with the well done flank steak. Once on doordash and when I went in person.

When you order the pho, all of your veggies will arrive on a separate plate. So, you can choose to add as much or as little as you want. In some other places like Bravo Pho in PA, I believe everything comes in the bowl all at once.

Regardless, the flavor of the broth was wonderful, warm. The flank steak was succulent, and the vegetables tasted fresh. For my wife, this was her first time trying Vietnamese food so I got her the Banh Mi sandwich.

She loved the freshness of the carrots and cucumbers and really enjoyed the flavor of the pork protein. Also, I did get a brown sugar boba tea which my wife kept stealing from me.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meals from V-Town and look forward to introducing more friends and family to this place.

I just had to share my other worldly experience at V’Town Vietnamese Restaurant.

It's an absolute gem. The food is fresh, authentic, and full of flavor—every dish tastes thoughtfully prepared and beautifully balanced. The pho is rich and comforting, the banh mi is spot-on, and the ingredients are clearly of the highest quality.

The service is warm and attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere is casual, clean, and welcoming—perfect for both a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner.

It’s clear the team, headed by May and Tammy, takes pride in everything they do.

If you’re looking for outstanding Vietnamese cuisine and a consistently great experience, run don't walk to V’Town, it's a must-visit.

On a 1-10 scale, it's easily an 11!

Great place for V food! We were so glad to decide trying this place instead of the other frequented ones. All dishes are well flavored, the pho, pancakes and even the fried doughs that come with the soup. 100% recommended!

Pho was great. Service was fast and the chicken on the vermicelli plate was flavorful. They were playing early 2000’s hip hop so bonus points.

The food (Pho and appetizers) was good 👍👍👍👍👍. There was no water at the table 👎👎👎👎👎 and no plates were given when the food was served 👎👎👎👎👎. You have to order from the cashier, which I'm not too happy about. There should be more waiters and waitresses. We will come back again for the food and unfortunately bring our own water.

I’ve tried pho at many restaurants in the PA and NJ areas and unfortunately this was not very good. To start, if you are dining-in you order and pay for all food up front at the counter which I thought was odd. I don’t feel I should have to pay and tip for food I haven’t even received yet when I’m dining in, unless it’s a fast food joint. But more importantly let’s discuss the food…. To start off we had the fried rolls. These were probably the best thing we had in this meal. They were hot and fresh and filled generously. My only complaint with these is the lettuce they are served with, which I usually love to wrap around the roll, was dirty. The pho was mediocre. The broth tasted like it had been fortified with an instant or premade broth mix, and had a lot of sediment. It was also quite dark in appearance which is unusual for 100% authentic broth. The provided amount of beef, noodles, and toppings were decent. I also had the taro boba which was not very pleasant at all. It tasted like powdered sugar, was grainy, and besides it being purple didn’t taste like taro at all. Service was okay. The gentleman at the counter was kind and busy, but they forgot to give us water. If this were my only pho option in the area I’d come back but there are a couple other places I’ll stick to. It wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had but not great.

I wish there was an option for the food to be more spicy but other than that the food was pretty good. I did enjoy the bread stick. Maybe this place will be my new spot since it down the street from where I work.

I have never wrote a review on google before for a restaurant. I work in hospitality, so I try to be understanding. Waited 40 minutes (never waited that long for pho and banmi before) because she was low staffed and busy. But this had to be one of the worst restaurants experience I’ve ever had. Completely forgot about our order. The server looked at us in shock when she passed us with the food for other tables who ordered after us. We didn’t say anything just asked for refund and walked out. She didn’t offer any extra service to compensate their mistake or for wasting our time.

A new, clean restaurant with really delicious food. I visited after a school tour in NJ and was warmly welcomed by the owner with all kinds of Vietnamese dishes: spring rolls, bánh khọt, pho, fried chicken wings with fish sauce… everything was amazing. The atmosphere is cozy and feels just like home. A definite ‘must-try’ spot when in NJ!

Great little spot! The food was tasty, fresh, and hit the spot, and the service was super friendly and welcoming. It’s tucked away in a small-town strip mall, but don’t let that fool you—this place has charm. Perfect for a casual bite, and I’d definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!

This is a new, and nearly hidden gem nestled adjacent to Cranbury’s historic downtown. Proprietor Sophie and staff are so gracious and accommodating. The delicious food is not only Vietnamese but hosts a full array of budget- friendly pan-Asian, American, and international cuisine in generous portions, sufficiently diverse to please even the most discriminating palate. The atmosphere is bright and inviting with lively decor and light musical background. My favorite drink is the crème brûlée bubble tea to accompany my pho gah (fresh chicken soup) or my crispy fresh quail egg salad. Whether you prefer vegetarian, poultry, pork, meat, or seafood, V-Town is a must-try food establishment for a tasty adventure made to order whether you like extra spicy, mild or not spicy at all. I go there quite often, and what also strikes me is its cleanliness. You can’t go to V-town just once. You’ll find yourself there time and time again unable to resist trying different dishes or just sticking to your favorites.
