A great place to chill out and not as crazy as other bars, unless the bartenders and the patron's favorite team plays ??. I lived in Cresskill for pretty much all of my life, and I don’t know why I never went here. I wish they had food because the name “Cresskill Tavern” is pretty misleading; other than that, it’s a great place, and so far, I have yet to see any negatives.
PROS: This is a local town bar where all the Cresskill residents go to. It has a pool table, very clean, good amount of parking, decent prices for the drinks tooCONS: this bar was not observing covid at all. Everybody, including the bartender was without the mask, no capacity restrictions, no social distancing. Also, its very small inside and they don't serve foodOVERALL: If you just want to grab a beer then come here but if you're looking for a safe and more open spaced...
Very clean and convenient place. They offer large portions and for inexpensive prices. I loved the food very much and the waiters were super amiable and informative. I recommend this place.
