My first time coming here recently was very good and I felt amazing hospitality from the young gentlemen at the front of the store named Edon and I asked him recommendations on food and he picked a good meal out for me perfectly. 10/10 would come again.

The service? Lacking.
We have been coming here for years and always loved it. Up until this past year. On several occasions, the men working the counter have been rude. Why would you hire people who lack customer service skills to be the face of your establishment? They have a negative tone and act like you are an inconvenience.
A place that was once welcoming is now uninviting. I'd rather go to the many other pizza places in the area that have a nice staff instead of having....my favorite penne and vodka. Stop with the attitudes, appreciate your customers.

I have been many times at the Cresskill location and the food is amazing, The help was great. And always very clean. I recently went to the Northvale location . And had the same experience as I did in Cresskill. Food exceptional. Help great. That will be one of my new favorite locations.

I agree with the other 1 star reviews. The service I received while eating lunch there was horrible. The 2 men in the front were very rude and not hygienic while handling the food. I will never go here again when there are much better restaurants with better service elsewhere.
Sometimes a place has great food, but not fantastic service. And sometimes vice versa, but with Dante's, is it's definitely both! Fantastic food and they have rice balls!!! which you can never find around here and being a Brooklyn girl I missed rice balls ! Till now! But beside the really good food, which is what brought me in to begin with. I have to make a shout out to Danny, the owner. Completely out of the kindness of his own heart. He took a chance on my Jonathan and gave him a position. To work there a couple of times a week. This was completely his idea as he was just looking to do something to help somebody get some experience under their belt and bulid more confidence. These are things you don't see every day. Well, he probably thinks he just helped a young kid who needed a chance a little boost he probably doesn't have a clue the true impact and major life boost this is for him. Building confidence, helping to understand finances and make his first major purchase! Work ethic and just customer service social interaction! Honestly the just of it is this... one selfless moment just to do some good in the world for no reason but to give back is not just one moment.... it begins and carries for the lifetime. Thank you for the beginning.

Very happy to see that “Dante’s” finally opened in the Northvale shopping center. Been waiting for you guys to fill the gap ! I was in there last Wednesday and it was impressive. Enjoyed it. I’ll def be adding it to my weekly routine. Besides the impressive menu, the owner “Danny” is a very accommodating owner. Full of personality, who’s all over you once you walk in - greeting you and genuinely told you he appreciated giving the place a try. As I sat there I watched him do it with everyone that walked in. Clearly in contrast to the aloof / distant tone of the previous restaurant . Great reviews on next door app. Wish you guys great success ! Now I def have to swing over to your cresskill spot.

The service from the front people was terrible. One of the men serving me was very rude and was making me feel as if I was an inconvenience. I came just to get a quick slice of pizza and the man could not be more unfriendly. Will never go back there. The slices weren’t worth the attitude nor was paying 12$.
