Food was good. Nachos were huge, also good. Service was attentive a quick. Place was empty but we showed up before 5pm. Filled up as we ate.

This was my first time trying out Scotty's bar and grill and it was alright. We came here to watch the game, which they had a decent amount of TVs. We decided to all order a bunch of apps to share. The food here isn't that great which was disappointing. The nachos were not that great. I enjoyed the flavor of the bbq sauce on the wings, but the wings had a weird crunch to them. I did like the fried calamari though! For dessert I do recommend the lava cake!

Order 1 burger and 1 nacho appetizer for pick up. When I arrived and I was told the bill was $45 I was so confused because that didn’t line up with the menu. When I got home, I looked at the bill and found this bar charges a $5 takeout fee! When I opened up the bag and saw the food, I was in shock they thought this was acceptable for $45. There were no condiments, no plastic silverware or napkins, The nacho platter was extremely small for the price, The burger bun was stale. The burger was cold And one extremely small piece of lettuce and sliver of tomato was provided with the burger. I am extremely disappointed and embarrassed for Anyone that works here. I will never return to this establishment. small portions, Mediocre quality, Lacking of basic items provided for takeout, The audacity to charge a takeout fee, With this cheap, packaging and lack of basic items a damn shame to see a business thinking they can survive while nickel and diming their clientel for mediocre food as if they are a Mitchelin rated restaurant Hahahha Pennypinching is not the business in this town. I could tell by the crowd they won’t be around much longer and rightly so if they don’t change the way they do business. Imagine paying five dollars additional on your bill for takeout and not even being provided ketchup for your burger and fries only to find the meat is heavily overcooked and The cooks cut the meat in half to check the temperature so When you bite the burger, it just falls apart in your hands and makes a greasy mess SMH

In the area for an 8pm concert at Bergen PAC (3.5 mi away) - had seen Scotty's listed, I'd never heard of it. I used to be in Cresskill area a lot, not so much over last 2 years or so. Looking for a place to go before the show, we navigated to Scotty's and I'm glad we did. This is exactly the place the area needs! Very cool vibe, we were promptly seated in bar area (our choice). Greeted by a great young man, Shawn, he took some drink orders and let us settle in. When we ordered we got mussels for an appetizer (highly recommended) and both ordered burgers. Great burgers! I really, really liked this place!!! Since I'm inquisitive, I looked up the history of Scotty's and discovered they've been open for less than a year! I'll let you look into it yourself, but to the owner...thank you for your service! A+ place. Now that it's on my radar, it's a go to when we are in the Bergen County area!!!

Attended a recent luncheon there, a large group of people. The room was crowded and not suitable for such a large group. The servers had to cross in front of the speakers and the kitchen was noisy. There was a large selection of entrees along with a soup or salad. The service was extremely unorganized. My table got their appetIzers after many people had already finished their lunches. They served all the similar entrees at a time. I selected something at the bottom of the list and got mine nearly last. The pizza appeared to be frozen boxed pizza that they reheated. The soup wasn't great. The chicken parmigiana wasn't great. Unimpressive. Sadly, they just weren't able to handle an event of this size. The servers blamed it on the kitchen. The small parking lot was full as were the municipal lots so I had to park at an athletic field down the street and walk in the busy roadway.

A really nice place to enjoy some bar food and a drink, or a cold beer. They have pool tables and dart boards for all to enjoy. The waiter was great, very friendly and attentive. He took care of our group of 10 very well. The food was good. I had a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and it was very tasty with lots of tender steak. One of our guest had a chicken pot pie and it looked great. The food appears to be home cooked including the soup which was really good. The place is a wonderful addition to the area with pool tables which most places no longer offer, because it takes away valuable table space which generates money. However, a place that puts the entertainment of their guests above money is a place that deserves my business.

I've been meaning to go here as soon as I saw that they were open. Finally went last week of December. Had their best seller cocktail, Cherries in the Snow, since it was recommended by the waitress. Sorry to say, it tasted like cough syrup. Had the nachos and it wasn't good either. It looked like everything was just plopped on top of the nachos, which was the best part of the plate. Food wise, I don't recommend this place. What I really liked was the ambience and the service. Everyone was so friendly, nice, and courteous. I love that they separated the bar from the dining area. It was also nice that they had pool tables and darts and a modern take on a jukebox. The place was also clean. It looked like a good place to hang out.

My experience at this establishment was decent as well as their selection. I visited with a group of friends and we were seated right away which was nice considering we went at a pretty popular hour. Our waitress introduced herself and asked if we would like a drink. We opted to look at the menu first, and that was the biggest mistake we made all night. We did not see this lady for another 20 minutes. I actually had to go to the host and say my friends and I are hungry. Can we please order something? On top of that, there were other workers walking by us and standing around the other bar area. I started off giving subtle motions, then I got up and waved my arms like I was directing traffic. The way the staff purposely looked away reminded me of how people look away from beggars on the street LOL. It was a lot of effort just to get our orders in. When I had to physically get up and ask for the waitress, she said from now on my name is (so and so) and let me know if you need anything. I appreciate that, but the damage was already done as I was annoyed. Other than this instance, the food and drinks were not bad. I do wish they used some melted cheese on the Nachos in addition to their cheese sauce, but it did taste exceptional. This is a bar, so I was not really upset at the fact that the chips were not house made. For a drinker, this place definitely has options for almost anyone. I was pleased with the atmosphere as well. It was not too loud and my friends were able to comfortably communicate. I may come back, under the condition that the server does not disappear for a while when I am hungry. While the server did fumble a little in the beginning, she was attentive the remainder of the time. One word of advice is not to forget about the hungry people waiting.

Stopped in to get a quick hamburger to go before a meeting at the Cresskill Firehouse. Sat at the bar and had a lager while waiting for food to get cooked and had a few tv's to watch. Got my food, paid, left and got to the firehouse. The Swiss cheese burger was cooked to my liking and plenty of shoestring fries, I was pleased. I would go again and try something else, but I don't go to bars anymore.
