“Friendly neighborhood cafe. Coffee and lattes are excellent. They do seasonal drinks and hot chocolate in the winter. Probably the best lattes in the area. The bagels are always hot and fresh. It gets pretty busy on weekends but they are really efficient. There’s a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is on the street or a lot across the street. If you order bacon or Taylor ham on your sandwich, there is a lot of it. They really don’t skimp. The prices are good comparatively. A bacon egg and cheese bagel was under 8 dollars, and I will be full all day. So much crispy bacon. Service is always friendly, even when they are slammed.“

“Hands down the best Italian restaurant in New Jersey, best food, best service, best ambiance. Had two specials, a string bean with cherry tomatoes salad, and a chicken stuffed with cortina cheese, both superb. Double espresso hot and strong. My three guests and I shared two bottles of an Amarone, excellent. Not cheap but you most certainly get what you pay for. This visit did not use the bar, but it is gorgeous with a back lit onyx counter, great place before or after the meal.“

“Decor is vibrant, colorful, and casual. Lots of places to sit. Staff is always super friendly and very helpful for explaining things. Lots of personal attention if you have questions about the food or any allergy issues. A lot of times, staff have offered to get me things fresh out of the oven. Their pan de queso and pastries are absolutely some of the best I’ve had anywhere. I usually come for a morning coffee and a snack, and have not had a chance to try their short rib soup. But based on how good it looks, it is very high on my list for a lunch meal.“

“I finally made it to Kirshenbaum for a quick morning bite. I got a parking space right in front at 830am which was a nice surprise. The space has plenty of comfy seating. All the pastries look awesome and it is all made in house. I had a curry pocket which hit the spot. All got a bunch of sandwiches for lunch. I enjoyed the egg salad which was on the lighter side. The brie and jam panini was a great balance of savory and sweet. The finish it off I got a slice of carrot cake which was outstanding- not too much icing and the cake was super moist.“

The macarons were a bit less crisp than my wife would have liked, but I blame that on the humidity and transport (I took too long enjoying the sunshine, nothing against the bakery), otherwise they were wonderful.“

“The quality of the goods is second to none. We catered our entire Thanksgiving dinner from the Shrewsbury location and it was top tier in all respects. It’s not just the Italian specialty items that are excellent, it’s the whole range of prepared foods. The meat and fish departments are like the neighborhood markets of my youth. The employees are courteous and available and knowledgeable. The people who work there care about the customers and seem to like their jobs. If you’re a food person (whether you like to cook or just eat - for me it’s both) don’t miss this place. I love it even for regular grocery shopping. One note: you get what you pay for and here you get a lot so expect higher (but not insanely so) prices. It is well worth it.“

“OMG, Dominic is the Best so kind & helpful! His Gluten free line is amazing and different. From the Chic Pea Pasta that our daugther loves to the Rice Pasta to the Gluten free breadcrumbs yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The cookies & desserts are to die for! The bread is so tasty nothing like in the store. Our daugther was diagnosed with Celiac disease in Jan. We where besides ourselves trying ot find a fresh line of Pasta and bread products that she would not only love but accept. Bravo to Sogni Dolci for making the best Gluten free Products! “We live about 90 minutes away in PA, but we make frequent trips to NJ and this is ALWAYS the first place we stop! Not only are the bakery items amazing (my son LOVES the scallion bread and the Nutella bread is my fave!) the Bubbletea drinks are delicious as always. Oh! The ice cream! Try the taro..you’re welcome! What makes it even more amazing is the friendliness of the owner and workers. Shanshan has been instrumental in helping me understand the process of Bubbletea making, offering suggestions and ideas and always answering my many questions. She is super friendly, often times giving us a sample of her new creations. My son and I were back again yesterday and met Larry (I’m pretty sure that was his name? I hope I’m correct!). He was so friendly and helpful and explained what some of the newer items were, which, of course ended up in my take home bag of goodies (good salesman!) It’s a place that when you visit, you know you WILL be greeted with a smile and openness. Thank you for making a couple of Pennsylvanians feel welcome in your neck of the woods.“

“Europeandeli has been a lifesaver for me. I grew up in Germany and missed Lebkuchen, Stollen and other traditional items around the holidays. They offer items that I can't find anywhere else. The packaging is great and none of the fragile items have been damaged in transport. I can highly recommend Europeandeli to anybody. Great selection, great packaging and great overall service.“

“This bagel was different had a unique flavor sort of like sour dough but not really. I had a plain bagel with cream cheese and butter. They roasted it good the bagel is thick and heavy so they double toasted it and it was warm melted the butter had a unique flavor was good I give it a 8.7 out of ten not best bagel I ever had but good worth a try.“

“Great blood sausage. Delicious. Among the many other delicious items that I cant actually name. For breakfast (or lunch), the salami, chorizo, and the morcilla (blood sausage) is delicious and it comes with a small tasty piece of bread or fried dough. Don't forget to ask for their hot sauce. Pan de queso, pan de yucca, buenuelas...all delicious. Empanadas are yummy. Only thing is they are made with corn meal shell not flour. Depends which one you like.“
