I can’t say enough about Carvers! It’s like my home away from home. Food outstanding, home made bread and muffins and atmosphere like family. When you walk in they know you by name and know what you want.Best breakfast and Lunch in town!!❤️

Sunday mornings are too precious to wait for bad/mediocre breakfast. The place is dated, cramped and smells in fresh. We waited over 10 minutes for a table. Service was slow and the atmosphere was “grandma’s house”. This place was not a good experience on a Sunday morning.

Some of the best food in NJ - the kielbasa is absolutely to die for.

This place is extremely small - (5) booths, approximately (6) tables, depending in the configuration.

Over the years, we’ve expected the service to be slow. It’s just the nature of being popular and having a small grill.
However, recently we brought our extended (with a small toddler). It took almost an hour to get food - and our toddler was a quite hungry. I asked if one of your employees could grab a muffin, or banana - anything to hold hom over. For the first time (ever), the response was dismissive. Simply bringing over a banana could’ve helped - but instead, the situation was ignored.

Not sure if there’s a solution - more staffing? Kitchen retrofit?
We’ve been frequenting this spot for years but miss the “small town” feel.

The French toast was amazing! They have pumpkin coffee for the season and it was delicious! Way better than Starbucks! The price is decent and the service as good. As we were waiting to take our seat all the customers there kept raving about this place. We did wait about 15 mins but it was worth it. It’s a hidden gem in Danville and it’s a must try! I would highly recommend!

Small breakfast joint, sometimes a bit of a wait during peak hours, but worth it. Food is always amazing, staff is great. Most recently went with our two young kids and we ordered pancakes for them to share and the waitress offered to have them make silver dollar pancakes instead, which was perfect for our kids. they're homemade bread is great too, love the cinnamon raisin.

Great spot for brunch. We stayed nearby and decided to go there one morning for one of our brunch. We looked at the comments beforehand and we expected to wait to be seated. We arrived and gave our names and waited for a table to be ready. After about 15 minutes of waiting we were seated and the service was great and the food amazing. The portions are big and pricing is fair. I recommend this place.

Carvers is THE place for breakfast and brunch. Today, I gobbled down the breakfast special of rib eye steak, with two eggs, home fries, and multigrain toast... everything PERFECTLY prepared! I couldn't ask for a better meal to celebrate my friend Susan's birthday!

Carver’s servers and their patrons are the kindest folks I’ve met since becoming a parent a year and half ago. Not only are their fresh breads and corned beef hash out of this world. But when my 1.5 year old was fussy and we were in and out to look at cars, the servers were quick and patient. Patrons made kind remarks. When this escalated to screaming and I was frantically looking for to go boxed and to pay: one patron helped distract my son so I could eat, another paid our tab 🥹 the servers were so kind, food delicious, and so incredibly friendly and patient

Very unclean place to eat with ants crawling on floor and table. Staff cleans tables brushing crumbs onto the floor and you wonder why they have ants. Staff spends more time talking to each other than waiting on customers.

There is usually a wait here on the weekends, but well worth it. Service is beyond outstanding. Breakfast is delicious. Huge omelets and the homemade breads are delicious! I wish I lived closer!
