Super friendly servers. Went alone and was offered a seat at large hightop with another group, because it had an outlet for my laptop. The other folks were nice and left me to my work. Mushroom goatcheese omelet was awesome, as was the toasted rye bread...I think they bake all their own bread. Will definitely go back if I'm in that neck of the woods again.Kid-friendliness: There were at least two toddlers sitting with their moms who did well.

Traveled from NY to PA googled for a nice breakfast place and I found Denville Diner. Right off the I80. The Ambience is calm and very homey mostly older people but they were able to accommodate us and had enough high chairs. We were 2 groups of 1st group of 6 ( parents and 4 kids (6,4,2,1) and second group of 4 people. The servers were so kind, considerate, checked in on us constantly. The food was amazing we ordered goat cheese omelette, cheese omelette, 2 pancake stacks, chocolate chip pancakes, French toast, eggs Benedict . Can I say the food was to die for! It smelled so good and tasted amazing! Kids gobbled it up. Kids got hot chocolate and got whipped cream on top. This diner is a treat! It's worth stopping by. Only things I would recommend that could have been better to heighten the experience would be to: 1. adding a changing station in the bathroom. 2. Tables tops are a bit loose, so the slightest bump and drinks get spilled. 3. Coffee taste was nothing special could have been better. 4. Maybe adding maple syrup.

I miss stereotypical NJ diners. There are a few still around, but most of them have gone "upscale". This place may not have the visual appeal of a NJ diner, but the menu is 100% diner food at diner prices. It was very crowded, which speaks good, but that also means the service was a bit slow. Would probably go again.

Run, don’t walk to this delish food establishment. Today I had their corn beef hash. Trust me because I order corn beef hash everywhere I go. This is THE BEST corn beef hash I have ever had. It literally melts in your mouth. I ordered it with two eggs over easy. Try it. You will not be disappointed!

Food Is good . Most of the staff is good but one waitress, I'll call her Cathy makes you wait at least 15 to process your check. Meanwhile she's setting up a table that could be put off for the 2 minutes it takes to check me out. And she's always trying to upsell me on extras for my meal.
