This was my first time at the Denville Diner. Stepping into this restaurant I was instantly impressed by the patriotism on display in the form of a very large American flag displayed on the wall. The Denville Diner is a “bruncheonette”, they close at 3:00pm so as long as you get there before 3:00 they will seat you. The staff and servers are so welcoming and friendly you will feel right at home. I ordered the crispy chicken BLT on a roll with Freedom fries and it was the perfect lunch.

After not taking our order for about 20 minutes the waitress comes over and places a jug of hot coffee right on the seating bench about a foot from my fathers lap. I inform the waitresses that this is dangerous and ask her to move it. She says its fine and she doesnt need to move it because shes guarding it with her knee. We leave after I inform the callous waitress that if someone did the same to her and created a situation in which her genitals could get scalded in the event of an accident that she would care.

Newly discovered this small but comfortable atmosphere diner! Been here 4 times so far and the consistency in food and service Is beautiful! Always such a joy and I always look foward to coming. I wish my father was here to enjoy this with us! He would be saying finally Real home fries potatoes!!!! Thank you ❤️
