Stopped into Denville Dog and Grill and tried out a few dogs. Got one with red onions and mustard and I also got the "Denville Dog" which had Chili, Cheese sauce, Sauerkraut, Diced Onion, and relish. Figured since they had a branded dog that it would be their best item and I should try that out. The woman who helped me at the counter was very friendly and she showed me to the restroom in what was an otherwise closed interior to the business (ample seating outside though). The buns for the dogs were generic which is typically expected but they were not steamed toasted and had that "just beginning to stale" kind of feel to them. That doesn't really usually bother me much honestly, but worth mentioning. The red onions had a flavor similar to the jarred Sabrett's onions but they were not uniformly chopped which led me to believe they made them in house. The flavor was quite similar to Sabretts though. Dogs were sabretts but they were not the naturally cased "snappy" dogs. The Denville dog unfortunately just had too much going on for me. I'm willing to bet if I had just gotten chili, cheese, onion (which is a typical combo for me) I would have liked it more. There were a lot of flavors competing and it didn't come together for me.Prices were pretty good, the two dogs were somewhere around $7 and change if I remember correctly. Denville Dogs and Grill Didn't Suck, but with a lot of other options in North Jersey that I prefer, I'm not sure that I'll be back.If you would like to see the video for this location as well as hundreds more, please check out my social media pages here - https://linktr.ee/Didnt_Suck

For a place called Dog & Grill, you would think the dogs would taste better than something you can pick up at ShopRite. Great fries though.

Great place to come eat with your family! The atmosphere is awesome and kind of gives you that boardwalk feel. I love getting ice cream and then walking across the street to walk along the rockaway river. The cheesesteaks are amazing and there is definitely something for everyone with the menu being so big. I always get a coke float with soft chocolate ice cream…but most go for the Stewart’s rootbeer float and soft vanilla. The ice cream is all welsh farms and they have so many hard flavors to choose from along with soft mint and dole whip. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Kid-friendliness: Perfect place to take your kids for a quick lunch or dinner and then ice cream ?Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible

If i could give negative stars i would. First off I stood there like a salami waiting for someone to take my order, after 6 or 7 minutes someone came. I should have seen that as a red flag. The food for what it was, way over priced.I had 2 shriveled up hot dogs, and a premade frozen burger patty….. it was horrible.I asked for ketchup and I got a cup with watered down ketchup? I mean are you that hard up?This place looked like it would be a great burger joint, it ended up being a complete disappointment.I am glad I am not a local and I was only doing a job out that way, so I will never have to look at this place again.Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere!

Their food is freshly cooked to order! The pierogies are great along with the cheesesteaks! Have to get a rootbeer or creamsoda float everytime! Actually tried the orange Creamsicle float and it was amazing also! My boyfriend loves the knockwurst and bratwurst from there which is not fou d around d this area often! They have something for everyone in the family! Plus they use Welsh Farms icecream which is the best! Definitely recommended!Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn't love ice-cream and then across the street is the river to go and see the ducks and walk!

Paid $33 for 3 tiny burgers, 1 tiny hotdog, and three half full bags of fries. Don't waste your money here if you are hungry and want enough food to not still be hungry.

Who doesn't love a good hot dog? This former Stewart's location in Denville, now known as Denville Dog & Grill, brings back some welcome nostalgia with its outside ordering, outside tables, and delicious hot dogs! I ordered one dog with onions and sauerkraut, and the other a chill cheese dog. The chili cheese dog was the better choice...delicious and the chili had a real kick to it. To top it off, they still serve Stewart's root beer! It was a beautiful day so it was fun sitting outside. Service was very friendly. Big parking lot. Fun choice!

Grabbed a quick lunch on a sunny Saturday at Denville Dog & Grill. It's a hot dog shack on the side of the road, with plenty of tables. They were pretty busy, so it was a bit of wait til we got the burgers and hot dogs we ordered at the window. We got the Denville Dog, cheese fries, a bacon cheeseburger, and a bacon chili cheese dog. They were pretty standard, prices were fair. This place looks like it's been around awhile, and is a beloved local hot dog/burger stand.
