Fish was not fresh at all(bowl smelled bad when I opened it) and they only had two sauces(which they completely drowned the bowl in, almost inedible). After all that, super expensive! Go to Poke Cafe near the rockaway mall instead, that's where I usually frequent, they are miles better, not even comparable.

Two of the three bowls we had were wrong, there was aluminum foil mixed in one of the bowls, the shrimp was soaked in so much vinegar that it wasn’t edible, and half of the salmon was a grey color. Not at all ok!

The worst poke I’ve ever had. Didn’t taste fresh, the salmon didn’t look like the fresh salmon you get at good poke places. I ordered 3 proteins: double salmon and one crab salad and I didn’t even taste the crab and there was barely any salmon which is probably for the best. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be returning.

The fish IS NOT FRESH!! For a poke bowl you need fresh fish.. the salmon was a weird color i couldnt even tell what it was, it was mashed up, but i tried it since i didnt know what fish it was (i got the 3 meats) with the way it looked & it MADE ME SICK!! it was bad salmon , i asked the lady over the phone which one that was & it was a shock to find out THAT was the salmon. Honestly would never go again. I told her, she said she would refund me, and didnt. I had to call today to get an actual refund, here’s hoping it comes this time.
I eat a ton of sushi and poke bowls and the texture and color on the salmon from this place was very off. I didn’t consume it cause I don’t want to risk food poisoning.The poor reviews on here are complaining about price but honestly the prices seem very typical for a poke place. $12 for a custom bowl with 1 protein is pretty typical. My problem is the quality of the food is poor. I should have known because as soon as I walked in, there was a “smell” in the air. Their FISH IS NOT FRESH. The rice seems a bit off too.I ordered online and it came out in about 5-10min. I asked for sauce on the side online and they ignored my request.

I very much enjoyed the BYO Poke Bowl as I can be picky about what I like. Great options! Wish they had carrots. Fish tasted fresh and the pickled onions & radishes were delicious. Definitely coming back when I’m in the mood for a poke bowl.
