On our way home from NYC back to Canada, trying to avoid the heavy highway traffic, we came to this restaurant by chance.
Absolutely amazing food. Authentic, tasty and plentiful. Three of us shared a platter, added two more skewers of meet and one more side and we couldn't finish; there was so much food. Price was great too. Thank you.

Ordered two lamb gyros, and a salad with lamb souvlaki for pick up. While the gyros were very good, they and the salad had very little lamb on it for the price. It was almost like a lamb crumble, not chunks or slices of lamb. It was definitely overpriced for what we received.

Absolutely incredible lunch experience today at this charming Greek restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a family-friendly atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Adam, our server, was attentive, kind, and truly went above and beyond to make our visit memorable.

The food? Phenomenal. Every dish was packed with authentic flavor and clearly made with care. The moussaka was rich, comforting, and perfectly layered—like a Greek hug on a plate. The hummus was so creamy and fresh, we were scraping the bowl clean with warm, fluffy pita. The spanakopita had that perfect golden crunch on the outside and a flavorful spinach-feta filling inside. And the chicken gyro bowl? Juicy, well-seasoned, and loaded with all the fixings—it was hearty, fresh, and downright delicious.

You can tell this place is run by people who take pride in what they serve. Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch, a relaxed family meal, or just a taste of Greece, this spot delivers on all fronts. Can’t wait to come back (leaving room for baklava next time)!

I cannot say enough great things about this joint. The owner is a warm, welcoming, helluva nice guy, as is the rest of the staff. The food is always fresh, portions are very sizable and prices are great. The restaurant itself is very bright and beautiful on the inside and the A/C is always cranking for those hot, summer days paired with a filling, refreshing meal. My friend and I have become frequent patrons since we first stopped in a few weeks ago. We love it here, and you will too!!

We had a marvelous dinner tonight at Greece Lightning! Adam greeted us as we entered and truly treated us as family. We came with 6 children and 5 adults. Adam was kind, patient and went above and beyond to engage the kiddos and keep everyone happy and very well fed.
The food was authentic and absolutely delicious; hummus with warm, fresh pita, real Greek olives, lamb and chicken Gyros, homemade spanakopita and souvlaki, What more can I say, a genuine culinary delight!

I’m so glad I tried this place! Visiting this Greek place was such a wonderful experience. The staff were attentive and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great meal.

The spanakopita was perfectly flaky. The Greek salad was crisp and refreshing, and the tzatziki was the best I’ve ever tasted—creamy, tangy, and packed with flavor.

I could really tell that the ingredients were high quality and prepared with a lot of care. Even the little details, like the warm pita bread and the complimentary olives, made everything extra special. I finished my meal with a piece of baklava, and it was the perfect sweet ending.

If you love authentic Greek food or just want a great meal in a warm and inviting setting, I highly recommend this restaurant. I left feeling happy, satisfied, and excited to come back again soon!

Today was our first trip. The food was tremendous best I’ve eaten in a long time and plenty of it or you can take a photo and put it in there too next time.
