We were so excited to try this place based on reviews but were really disappointed. It did seem like the young man making our sandwiches might have been new but the bread was not good, asked for peppers on sandwich there were about 3, and the sandwich was falling apart when eating it. Overall sandwiches were not good and we were disappointed especially for denville where there are many high quality food options.

Great Old School type deli that serves up a very good cheesesteak in Denville, New Jersey.. was not expecting such a good sandwich and was pleasantly surprised. Will be adding to the Scary Good Eats App for Cheeseteaks. Rumor has it that they serve up a great breakfast sandwich as well. Looking forward to that visit.
Parking: There are a few free parking spots behind the deli, you can also get a spot on the street.

Found on Google was in the area figured I'd try a cheesesteak was not disappointed. Had the Blue Angel which has shaved steak, peppers, onions, mushrooms, hot peppers, American and Provolone. Great sandwich will return for more . The breakfast sandwiches were recommended so I will try one for sure. Service was excellent place was nonstop busy with orders so be prepared to wait. Totally worth it
Have been here three times and more to come. Italian sub was modded just how I asked and the cheesesteaks are the best I’ve had. Each person that’s greeted me behind the counter has been lovely. Great food, great service. Prices are fair too. A 12 dollar cheesesteak is so big it’s two meals! Can’t wait for my next trip and to share this with family and friends!

Got a flat tire so found this place online for breakfast while I waited for Mavis to open. Had a Taylor ham egg & cheese on a roll with salt pepper ketchup which I hadn't had in years and it was just as good as I remember from my youth. Gentleman behind the counter was very friendly. Made the rough morning a little better. Thank you
