We ordered takeout from this incredible Italian restaurant on a busy Friday evening (8/8/25) around 6:30 PM. The online estimate said our order wouldn’t be ready until 8:15 PM, but we decided to stop in around 7:00 just to see if it might be ready earlier. The kind gentleman handling takeout orders was so accommodating—he offered to move our order to the front, and to our surprise, it was ready in just about 20 minutes.
We chose to enjoy our food outside, and while we were eating, the owner came out to personally greet every table. That simple gesture really stood out—it showed how much he genuinely cares about his guests and the experience they have.
As for the food, it was absolutely phenomenal. Every bite tasted fresh, authentic, and straight from Italy. From the quality of the ingredients to the perfect execution of each dish, you can tell they take pride in what they serve.
Between the outstanding hospitality and the unforgettable food, this place is a true gem. I can’t wait to come back!

The best Italian around! We waited for about an hour, strolled around town, were seated by lovely staff who go above and beyond. The food is incredible and affordable! Gluten free pasta is the best you’ll ever have; you’d never know it’s GF. Worth the wait, didn’t feel rushed, amazing food! Overall, the best spot!

Stumbled upon this place while visiting Denville. The food, atmosphere, and service were all exceptional and this is now one of my favorite spots NJ! We’ll definitely be back! Cannot go wrong with the meatballs, garlic bread, golden pomodoro, and a coffee/cannoli on your next visit.

The food lives up to it's reputation. It is amazing. Literally the best mozzarella sticks on the planet. Even more amazing is how every single employee there was so happy and so nice. Can't wait to go back.

The handmade pasta is excellently al dente and tasty, while the service is likewise wonderful. I had high hopes and expectations for this restaurants, and they were broken by my recent visit. My favorite part was being shown the specials, the pasta is in a box and the server describes the dishes available.
10/10 I will definetly come back to try more dishes

I don’t know what took us so long to go to the Pasta Shop but I’m so glad we finally went. I wish I could give this place 10 stars! From the moment we walked in we loved it. We were welcomed right away. We did go on a Wednesday so there was no wait. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. The owner/manager was very nice, he shook our hands and thanked us for coming. We definitely will be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Best restaurant I've been to in the past few years and frankly exceeds the hype. We went with the pappardelle, vodka rigatoni, chicken Parm with linguine aglio e olio, and ziti Alla norcina (the special). Each was fantastic, with the pappardelle being the standout by a thin margin.
Service was attentive and professional but still friendly and down to earth.
Decor is clean and practical - they have a variety of extruders and other pasta making equipment on display out frint
Had a bit to-go and they have a very well managed and convenient check-system for leftovers.
Overall just an amazing dining experience. I had high hopes and they were exceeded. Can't wait to pop in again.

I worked in high-end Italian restaurants for twenty years. The Pasta Shop's cuisine blows them all away. Dined in with my fiancee in early 2025. Never been happier to wait almost two hours for a table. Everything is made in house. The pasta was the most delicate I've ever had. To start, we had burrata with fresh figs, candied walnuts, balsamic glaze and toasted bread tips served over chilled arugula. I am not exaggerating when I say this is one of the five most delicious things I have eaten in my whole life. I feel bad that I can't recall the name of our young server, but he was phenomenal. Front of house manager Roy could not have been nicer or more accomodating. He was sincerely grateful when I told him about our experience. Everyone working there we interacted with seemed to enjoy what they do; pride in their smiles. Lastly I'll add jokingly that The Pasta Shop has no business charging such incredibly reasonable prices for food this amazing. My highest recommendation.

Ordered take out and the workers are very friendly greeting you at the door. The establishing is very small and honestly they should have a walk up window it would elevate the crowded entrance and a quicker service. I came far to try this food and the bolognese was pretty good the dish was fresh, rigatoni and vodka was very delicious, the chicken parm was a small portion and not the best. I would go again but just take out for the pasta not looking to dine in.
