Loved the General Tso's tofu, sweet potato sushi and cheesecake! My non-vegan family loved it too. Thanks for having such great options!

Veggie Heaven is a long running favorite of ours. Every time we visit New Jersey we make a stop here. Even it it's out of the way. The menu has a huge selection of vegan items, many that you cannot find elsewhere. Definitely worth stopping if passing through Denville on RT 80

I went here two days in a row. Two pluses, they are fully vegan and they have a separate gluten free menu. But their food is incredibly salty and not great. General Tso’s is meh, not a fan of the chicken chunks and it was super salty. The sushi was TERRIBLE. The spicy tuna roll is repulsive. Not sure what was in it but I didn’t eat it and they still charged us for it. Grocery stores put more care into their sushi than here. I asked if the Thai red curry hot pot could be made less spicy and they said yes. I guess they made me a custom dish to make it not spicy but it was just bouillon with curry powder, nothing Thai about it. No coconut either. It was so salty that I drank an entire gallon of water after eating it. I would love to support a fully vegan place but unfortunately it’s just not good.

So many options that it’s hard to decide. Just go!

i will probably be thinking about the ting-ting two flavor and the drumsticks for a long time. the spring rolls were also excellent.

We really enjoyed our dishes, though they were perhaps a bit too saucy and sweet. I might ask for less sauce next time. There are nice desserts as well. Very fair prices for northern NJ. Updated from previous review on 2025-03-31

The scope of the menu is breathtaking! The owner is very helpful and recommending dishes as you will need a recommendation given that there are so many from which to choose!

We’ve been customers of veggie heaven for the past 5 years and drive an hour to get here. Wish they were closer and we could come a lot more often! The service and food are exemplary. The staff is beyond courteous and go out of their way to make sure you have a great dining experience. The owner is so sweet and she always makes you feel special with little treats and a warm welcome. We celebrate every occasion in our family at this restaurant and every member of our family absolutely loves the food! The hot and sour soup, hot jungle, chicken chow fun, chicken roll (sushi), and hunan dumplings are our favorites! If you’re looking for a family friendly restaurant that everyone is going to love then you can’t go wrong with Veggie Heaven in Denville!!

Food: It was oillllly as hell. Spring Roll were cold half done. Probably frozen. Dumplings just tasted like eating uncooked dough. Main course noodles OILLY. No flavor. Plain Awful.

Service: Walked in at 8.15pm. Lady (owner) said we are closing soon at 9pm. It was 45mins to go. Same lady comes to our table no hello no smile nothing asks us, "What do you want". We were a bit suprised (eyebrows raised). Once we ordered nobody came to ask if we need anything else. I had to go to the counter and order a coke.

When went to pay the bill. Same lady smiled and started being nice. We paid the bill and purposely left $1 tip. Chinese lady calls us back and ask what is the amount of tip she cannot read. I said its $1. She says its a holiday season and need some more. I changed to $2 tip. And walked out.

Absoulutely RUDE and Obnoxious Chinese lady.

Btw, there was Chinese family of 4 were still ordering but the same Chinese owner rushed us.

Tbh, I wouldn't have cared if the food was good. But it was awful.
