I contacted them to make a cake for our mom's 70th birthday and it was perfect. They communicated well with me. The cake was delicious and everyone loved it. Will definitely go back to them for another cake!

Ordered a dessert platter for Christmas. It contained a variety of desserts; brownies, cake pops, cannoli, eclairs, and cream puffs. All of our guests were able to find something they liked. We picked it up on Christmas Eve and everything was still very fresh on Christmas Day.

phoned to inquire about a 30th birthday cake, and the lady mentioned that she'd arrange for the manager to return my call, but I never received that callback. This marks the third bakery to follow this pattern. I'm uncertain if my request was bothersome to them, but this isn't a way to handle customer service.

What an incredible experience. We were coming into Denville for an extended weekend which happened to be my wife's birthday. I ordered the cake, picked it up and when we all sat down to a slice it was just incredible. Great service and great taste. Highly recommend you use Vikingos.

What a shame. The cream puffs and eclairs were stale and the filling varied from non-existent to not quite custard. The brownies were just okay and the young kids did not eat their cupcakes. Just disappointing.

Sadly, the cake that my family ordered for my birthday was nothing like the photo that was provided. In addition to the poor cake decorating the cake itself was dry and far from gourmet. We will be going elsewhere in the future.

OMG The Vikingos Bakery in Denville is tops!We stopped in the other day to get a dessert tray, and boy did they make a fantastic tray for our event Everyone at our dessert table asked where we got the cookies and desserts and we told them the bakery in Denville that is just amazing Staff is friendly efficient. Everything is fresh and just taste so good they wrapped it up and it look like a wedding gift.

Today I picked up cookies as a treat for my kids after school. They were rock hard and inedible. Sadly a waste of money and my kids were upset that their snack had to be tossed since they were so stale. I used to love this place and was incredibly disappointed to see the quantity to have dropped to this level. Sadly I won’t be returning.

We got the s'mores brownie (blondie) and pecan caramel brownie. Huge portions and loved the icing on top of the chocolate brownie. Free coffee is a great perk! They didn't have much of a bakery selection but I'm not sure if that's because it was Black Friday, or because they only focus on custom orders
Not what it used to be...Paid $40 for a cookie, 4 pastries, and cup cakes even though the register said $25. I did not understand what the woman said as an explanation either. Won't be going back.

Never again. The cannolis were only half filled the chocolate surprise pastry was dry and disgusting. The only surprise was the bland taste the chocolate had. The cheese cake pastries were burnt and tasteless. I would have been better off going to shoprite or weis and pay a little more but it will be better. Time to look for another bakery...

We ordered a three tier cake for my sisters sweet sixteen. The design was minimalistic; we provided photos and they confirmed they would be able to do it. As my family was rushing to set up for the party, the cake arrived and it was NOT AT ALL what we had asked for. It seemed like it was put together in a rush and was melting as they set it up. When I expressed my disappointment and frustration, they stated they had never seen the photo we confirmed via email. WHAT? They offered to take it back and redecorate it. The cake arrived three hours later and it was still a disappointing cake. But because we were in such a rush and the guests were waiting for dessert, we rushed and paid them. Additionally, the cake itself was incredibly dry. The cake experience was by far the most disappointing part of our party. I can't believe these people are still in business with the way they conduct themselves. I highly recommend you find another place.

Never again from this place. They had ruined my daughter’s sweet sixteen cake really bad. I had ordered beautiful cake with 3 tier and specific instructions in the email and they brought us cake which was nothing like what we asked for. When we complained they took the cake back and re-iced. It’s still not what we ask for but needed something to go with 150 people at the party. Cake was really dry as well. I highly recommend not ordering from this place. Odds are they will mess it up last minute much like many of the other reviews here say.
