Mt Fuji Japanese Restaurant

It’s been my favorite place to get sushi for over a decade now. The only time my food wasn’t good was Spring 2025 because everything I ordered had cucumbers in it. 1-2 days after we got it, it comes out that there were cucumbers with salmonella through NJ. And I mean the taste of the cucumbers were so bad I couldn’t eat my food. So the only issue that I’ve ever had wasn’t due to any fault from the restaurant. It was just a bad coincidence that NJ had a salmonella outbreak on cucumbers. I still recommend to everyone!

The Hibachi is the Best! The food is delicious. The chefs are very friendly and entertaining. You get a lot of food. All the staff are very friendly and courteous.

Love the hibachi at this restaurant! You get so much food, so its a good value overall! Our chef was great and our waitress was very attentive. Reservations needed for hibachi on the weekends!

Spicy maki combination was terrible - I couldn't taste any of the fish as it was all covered with the spice and that was all I could taste. This is the first time ever that I didn't finish what was on my plate. My partner didn't like his sashimi plate either. Will never go back.

Wonderful family place. We had the whole table this time for a birthday and everything was great, as always. This place has the best hibachi chicken ever and they always take such good care. Love Mt Fuji!

Doesn’t let 1 person sit at the hibachi even if they’re completely empty/ don’t mind sitting with other people. Most other hibachis do

Great first hibachi experience for my two young boys. Great service, even brought them toys to make them feel comfortable. Would recommend!

Great place and amazing food! I saw another photo of their tuna tartar, I asked if they had the dish. It was not on the menu though they made it for. Absolutely delicious!
