We ordered 2 fruit salads last night, specifically 1 without banana because I am very allergic, we called half an hour after picking them up to confirm which one was without banana and they said that the one with stripes was the one. When I went to eat it, it turned out to have banana, please be more careful about allergies because the last time I ate one I ended up in the hospital.
Excellent service and delicious food

Two stars for buying choricrolla and it was more creole potatoes than chorizo and egg
I went with very high expectations when I saw the place full, I said it looks good, they told me that they had a delay of 20 or 30 minutes and I agreed to wait. I ended up waiting an hour! To get home I opened the food trays and found: the chuzo meat was tasteless and had no seasonings, the hamburger was ok and the dog was also ok. But everything was COLD! I accept the time I waited if when I got home everything was hot (because it was freshly made) but everything was frozen! So I don't know if my order was already there and no one was able to get it out and they made me wait an hour for it! Without a doubt they are not prepared to handle such a large number of orders and people on the site. And because they want to cover a lot without having the capacity, they give poor attention to everyone. Besides, I wasn't the only one waiting, there were many annoying tables waiting for their food.

Altoque in Dover, NJ, is an absolute gem that has consistently exceeded my expectations. I've visited over a dozen times, and every single experience has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment you step in, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The vibrant colors, upbeat energy, nice music, and the constant buzz of happy customers give the place an authentic and lively vibe that reflects the heart of Colombian culture. But Altoque isn't just about atmosphere. The food is, hands down, some of the best I've ever had. Not just the best Colombian food, but the best food in general. The menu is vast, offering an incredible variety of dishes that cater to all tastes. Whether you're in the mood for a traditional Colombian meal or something a bit different, they have it all. The Salchipapa is a personal favourite. Rich, flavorful, and satisfying. But what truly sets them apart is their attention to detail in every dish, from the perfectly cooked empanadas to the most tender, juicy cuts of meat. Their portions are generous, yet the pricing is extremely reasonable. You truly get value for your money here, which is rare to find these days, especially for food of this caliber. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for a full dinner with family and friends, you'll leave feeling completely satisfied without breaking the bank. The service at Altoque is another highlight. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. From the servers to the kitchen staff, you can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Even when the restaurant is bustling with people, they manage to maintain a high level of attentiveness, ensuring that every guest feels valued. I’ve never had a bad experience at Altoque, which is a testament to the consistency and quality of the restaurant. It’s rare to find a place where every visit is just as good as the last, but they’ve nailed it. If you're in Dover and looking for not just the best Colombian food but some of the best food in town, you absolutely have to check out Altoque. This place is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food, excellent service, and a lively, vibrant atmosphere.

I loved the stuffed arepas!
I also bought arepas to take away and make at home and they were delicious, they are made of corn, super homemade, I felt like I was in my little land of Medellín.

The food is very delicious, but:
Every time you go to eat, the salad, or the juice of the day, is already gone! They don't make enough for the day, and it's taken time to know more or less how much they sell per day.
And personally, since I don't drink soda, one is forced to buy a juice.
Second, it doesn't seem to me that they charge the automatic tip when only 1 or 2 people sit down to eat (the tip is what the client considers)
Third,
The prices are the most expensive in the area compared to the surrounding restaurants (I come back and repeat, very expensive so they don't have juices or they decomplete the lunch because they run out of things)

I ordered a salchipapa and it arrived cold and without sauces and a terrible service, not to mention the arepas, they always don't even put cheese on them?
