First off , out of all the ice cream places I’ve been to.. nothing beats Dover dairy maid . In fact I’ve brought numerous friends here that aren’t from around here and they also agreed , AMAZING ICE CREAM!! Will it be busy? Yes. Will there be a line out the door? Very likely. Is it cash only ? Also yes but when you finally get to try their many delicious flavors … you’ll get it . You’ll understand. The wait is always worth it !

The ice cream I just walked out with for $5 is pathetic. Legit the girl gave me a tablespoon of ice cream on a cone. People wonder why small businesses can’t compete with larger chains. This is why.

I ordered an orange creamsicle ice cream cake, and although I was initially hesitant, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! I had originally planned to order from Denville Dairy because I love their refreshing flavors, but the cake from here was just as tasty, if not better. Plus, it was more affordable, and they were very accommodating with the pickup timing. While Denville requires a week’s notice, they were able to have it ready in just a couple of days. Thanks again for the great service!

Finally came back here for some delicious snacks earlier in the week.
Food: unpictured is the oreo Cookie Monster styled ice cream that my wife loves, but I only learned that they do a creamsicle ice cream (a mix of vanilla ice cream and orange sherbet) and I am in love. It is such a unique flavor mix that I didn’t know I needed and I also learned later that it is possible down the shore, but I don’t have to go that far for it!
Aesthetic: standard ice cream parlor, I like the location albeit the parking is a little tough if the lot is busy.
Service: great, hard working servers, can’t imagine how busy they get!

I am like many other lovers of ice cream. Now that being said Dover Dairy Maid is the absolute best place to get ice cream from in Morris County. Wife and I had the taste for some ice cream. We head to Dover my Wife want soft served ice cream with sprinkles cause she is a big kid. I want an icee cause I had no LactAid with me.
I asked the Young Lady if I do a mix. She replied yes you can so my eyes ? got big as I see the flavors I wanted. Mango, Pineapple and Coconut yes yes yes I know you all are thinking I gotta do that. The Dairy Maid is so freaking clean the Ladies keep the place spectacularly clean.
I see they have a Blueberry Cheesecake ice cream I gotta go back for it. The flavors of Italian Icees the flavors of ice creams. Dover Dairy Maid is a Dangerous place.

My mom loves taking me here when she visits back into the area. She always says she prefers the ice cream over denville dairy, which I happen to agree with. The grilled food place attached makes this location a full meal with desert. American mom and pop at its best. This location is a must go.
