First off , out of all the ice cream places I’ve been to.. nothing beats Dover dairy maid . In fact I’ve brought numerous friends here that aren’t from around here and they also agreed , AMAZING ICE CREAM!! Will it be busy? Yes. Will there be a line out the door? Very likely. Is it cash only ? Also yes but when you finally get to try their many delicious flavors … you’ll get it . You’ll understand. The wait is always worth it !
The ice cream I just walked out with for $5 is pathetic. Legit the girl gave me a tablespoon of ice cream on a cone. People wonder why small businesses can’t compete with larger chains. This is why.
I ordered an orange creamsicle ice cream cake, and although I was initially hesitant, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! I had originally planned to order from Denville Dairy because I love their refreshing flavors, but the cake from here was just as tasty, if not better. Plus, it was more affordable, and they were very accommodating with the pickup timing. While Denville requires a week’s notice, they were able to have it ready in just a couple of days. Thanks...
