Better Known as Ven Pa Ca bar, they are breaking the law (N.J.S.A. 56:8-156.1 & -156.2) and committing tax fraud ( price on paper is such until exuberant fee was disputed at which point new price was said to also need to add tax though former price was already taxed). Everything I have just stated can be verified with several dover police department body cams. Also, the officers did not want to do their job and stated, it was a civil case. The problem with that statement is that the charge had not yet been processed, and given the information and the illegalities, would have been witness to a crime be it ever so little. Police officers are not allowed to let a crime take place in their presence or as witnesses themselves. They just didn't I want to get involved even after the law was proven to them. One officer took it as far ask to sneak up behind the plaintiff and tell him to tone it down after being totally disrespected and chastised by the now angry offender for losing the extra money. The case would have become civil after the fact and only after the police filed their reports. Other than that, you would have to sue for the damages after spending an exuberant amount on attorneys. Back to the bar; if you pay cash, they will give you a price, and that is all. If you use a credit card to pay that bill, you will be charged ten percent of your bill which is highly illegal. There are also certain requirements they did not meet to charge any sort of credit card fee. Finally, given the stated law, the max they were previously allowed to charge now exceeds the law as further investigation revealed they pay a max fee of 2.6% + $.10 per transaction as per their processor who also stated it was most likely less but could not be disclosed as individual account terms are confidential. They also try scamming drink sales with a one ounce plastic shot cup filled to less than half for the bartender. When confronted, stated the full cup (ounce) would cost double. With so many nice bars in that area, why go there?

Felt obligated to make a review for this place, even though I only got one drink.So from the outside and from content online it looks like a cocktail lounge with club type vibes.The ambiance is nice, but they do no know how to make even one Cocktail.Granted this could be the bartender's first week of something so who knows.Asks for an old fashioned, don't know how to make that.Ok... How about a mojito? Nope.Ok that's fine, do they have a cocktail menu then? Nope.So I resorted to getting Don Julio on the rocks since that's all she knew how to make.The only reason I'm eating three stars and not one is because the bartender was very friendly and quick service... Even though there's only two of us at the bar>

Visiting from UK. Stopped in lovely Dover for a drink and food after visiting NYC.Owner came and spoke to us and was so helpful and friendly.Drinks served promptly, followed by excellent food!! Highly recommend this place if you're passing through Dover.

Our service was very attentive. Waitress welcomed us in and gave a chance to decide on our meal.My wife ordered the pork chop. Wow! Well seasoned, very juicey, cooked to perfection. I had the seafood bowl. Calamari, shrimp and cod. It was delicious.We've decided to keep coming back to try the rest of the menu.Gracias
