I have lived in the area for over twenty years and never knew this restaurant existed. It is a great gem! It's a hard place to run into. You need to know it exist, and now I do. Loved the garlic shrimp and the flan are awesome. Will be back.
Parking: Look for parking in the lot a block away.

This is the third or fourth time I've been to this restaurant since 2017 (would have been more often, if not for Covid), and I'm pleased to say that it's as good as ever. The food is delicious, and it's quiet enough to talk without shouting, even on a Saturday night. This last visit, they were shorthanded, so table service was spottier than usual, but always very polite and friendly. The three people I was with were all very pleased with their dinner.
This place was recommended by a neighbor of mine who swears by it. It’s a typical little hole-in-the-wall joint with very good food and the owners/staff were incredibly friendly. I had the mushrooms as an appetizer and the cod for dinner. Both were excellent. The menu boasts their Basque region cuisine is authentic. I wouldn’t know because it was my first time eating Basque cuisine, however, it was fantastic nonetheless. This is the perfect low-key place to eat with friends/family looking to pass time over good eats and maybe even while trying something new.
Terrible service and unimpressive food. Very short staffed and disgusting waiter. Lacks cleanliness. Not worth going there and prices are high. Hard to understand the other reviews when there are much better options in the area for Spanish food. My guess is this place saw better days decades ago but it's awful today. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this establishment!

Very warm and welcoming holiday atmosphere, wait staff attentive, food worth waiting for, husband ordered Paella & it was delicious! Reasonably priced and regular menus was offered, which is important to me as I'm not catholic and wanted a steak on Christmas Eve. Dessert was offered but we were so full and satisfied, we passed. Looking forward to going for dinner again.

10/10!!! I went to Jai-Alai for my birthday and really wanted Paella! It was my first time dining at the Jai-Alai despite living in the area for most of my life and wow, I have been missing out! I got the sangria, stuffed mushrooms with cheese/crabmeat, the paella, and the flan for dessert. The service was amazing and the staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Highly recommend Jai Alai to anyone looking for a delicious all-around Basque-Spanish meal. This is the spot!
Vegetarian options: Mostly seafood on the menu but there are sides and apps without meat.
Parking: Street parking in the front as well as parking in the back
we need stars to describe the atmosphere good customer service and exquisite food 100% recommended they already know that we like the table in the corner near the painting of the brave man face to face with the bull
It's been decades since I've been there. Had a drink at the bar with their delicious homemade chips! Service is still exceptional ? ??
Went with large group, got sat in back room by ourselves. Food was great, service great. The chorizo was excellent as was the chicken tarragon. The greater group had chicken dishes, paella, meats. Everyone enjoyed. First time back since early 90s and was still the best Spanish around.
Great little restaurant, great paella and sangria ...been going here for years and it never disappoints
