Everytime I order food here they forget something. I ordered mangu and they forgot to put the onions on it which literally makes mangu mangu. Their pollo guisado and roasted whole chicken is always dry for some reason. And when I order chicken breast they gave me only thighs after I asked more than once to look at the food and confirm they gave me fried chicken breast. Everytime I ask to speak with someone regarding the mess ups no one knows what to do. So the service sucks there. This place used to be great but has been slacking on service and food quality. Def lost a good client since I always purchased for a family of four.

A friend told me about John's Fried Chicken so I looked it up and saved it. This all happened in a day told me on Saturday visited on Sunday. It was my Beautiful Daughter and her S/O and my Gorgeous Wife. As we were celebrating my Exquisite Wife's Birthday.
Stepping in John's an up to the counter. You see the good looking food many choices. Where do I what do I order. Wife ordered the chicken seasoned white rice red beans and tostones. Daughter and S/O ordered seasoned chicken with yellow rice and tostones. I ordered fried chicken black rice and tostones. Lemonade for the three and told the Hostess to pick whatever for me Strawberry Lemonade fit for a King 😁
Fried chicken is good dark meat legs and thighs. Our plates are stacked definitely will have leftovers. Food was flavorful good hearty after eating I needed a nap. Definitely will be returning soon than later.

I ordered chicken soup and they said that order comes with a side of rice! I have a screenshot on my phone and the person that answered the phone keeps fighting with me saying the soup doesn’t come with rice. They should make that clear then because that is the second time that happened

Been here twice now, was told it was the best fried chicken in the area, that might be true but personally not impressed. My last order was old and not crispy at all, maybe depends on time but seems like it was sitting for a while.
Paid 2$ for special of the day beans on my rice and there was none. Rice is tasty and the maduros are amazing. Will try the pernil next time and may update my review but that will be the last chance i give this place. Ladies are a bit rude too.

My daughter ordered food from here today! She paid $14 for chicken soup, $18 for a large white rice and $6 for tostones. Every time we order from here the price is different. No consistency on pricing! The owner should make sure his or her employees know the exact prices. Huge turn off! Would not recommend based off that
