The staff especially the waiter, handled everything with genuine kindness and professionalism. At no point did they forbid the guest from eating their own food. On the contrary, they were very understanding about the dietary needs and clearly explained that while the guest was welcome to eat their meal at the table, the restaurant couldn’t heat it up due to health and safety regulations.
These rules are standard across many establishments and exist to protect all customers. The waiter communicated this calmly and respectfully, doing their best to accommodate within the boundaries of what’s allowed. My advice: if you have a strict medical diet, consider eating beforehand and joining your group with a drink or whatever your diet permits, that way, you can still enjoy the company.
It’s unfortunate that the situation was misunderstood, but from what I witnessed, the staff acted with courtesy and care. I’ve always had a great experience here, and I truly appreciate how they treat their guests, even in tricky situations. And yes, the food is absolutely delicious.

We’ve ordered the Deep Fried Seafood Plate (Jalea) three times now, and each time the calamari has been over-fried—it comes out rubbery instead of tender. The rest of the food is excellent, but the Jalea could use some improvement. If the calamari were cooked a little less, it would make a big difference.

Very disappointing experience. I ordered a mild- spicy ceviche, a “special” lomo saltado (for which I had to pay extra) and fried fish. When I got home, the food was tasteless. The lomo saltado was dried, the rice undercooked and the meat wasn’t even “lomo fino” as they professed. The ceviche was awfully spicy and had raw corn on it. I had to throw the dish away. The service and atmosphere were not welcoming or professional either. I have been going to this restaurant for years and it’s sad to see how the quality has decreased this much. My family and I are not going back.

Horrible place. The servers are useless treating you like they are going to give you free food. me and my family will never never come here again. The food it’s nasty and kitchen it’s unsanitary do yourself a favor don’t come here…
