I know its just a hot dog burger stand but this place is very middle of the road. Nice kids that work there though. The food is very unremarkable, STEWARTS root beer food was better. Better spots in the area, kind of a waste of a great location.

I popped in here for lunch today, since this place is close to my work. I was greeted very warmly by the owner and felt very welcome. Ordered the Italian dog with a side of onion rings. Dog was loaded and very flavorful. Italian bread fresh and rings crispy and delicious! They have dogs, smashburgers, sliders, chicken sandwiches, fries, onion rings and breakfast all day. Place was very clean. Definitely coming back! Owner was funny, cheerful and accomodating and made a point to say goodbye and wish me a good day. The little things matter. Thanks for a great experience.

@BigDudesBigFoods finally made the 10 minute drive to @PopsPlaceNJ on Rt. 46 in #RockawayNJ on our perpetual quest to support small business. Between the 6 of us, we tackled a decent percentage of Pop’s menu. I got Pop’s Breakfast Bomb 🍳💣 combo. H&O got the grilled cheese 🧀 and nuggets 🐔 boxes 📦 from the kids menu. Mike got the BBQ Cheddar Bacon Chicken 🐓 Sandwich Box 📦. Joe and Zack got an assortment dogs. 🌭🌭🌭and ac#SmashBurger 🍔 There were fries 🍟 and onion 🧅 rings everywhere. We liked the house sauce but H&O stuck with the ketchup. Freddy Jr. treated us like family (sorry about the blurry pic) #PopsPlace has an old timey roadside burger 🍔 stand feel but it’s so well kept, you would think that it just opened. You can sit inside or out. Pop’s is at a level above fast food because everything is made to order. Great place but horrible dogs… they didn’t appear to be Sabretts - very salty and extremely thick skin. I know they were grilled but still wasn’t impressed.

We just had a birthday party at pops place for my son. And I was beyond impressed. The staff was extremely accommodating and super nice. Very easy to work with and the food was excellent. Hidden gem of a spot for a birthday party!!!

I have nothing but good things to say about this place! Super dog friendly, the owner's son Fred is so sweet and kind! Any questions I had about the menu he answered. The establishment inside and the seating area around the grounds is super clean. My friend and I ordered 1 smashburger, one Italian hot dog, and one order of the home fries and the house sauce tasted so good on the all 3 food items. Fred was amazing with my friend's dog, he gave her a plain cut up hot dog, a puppy cup, and a bowl of water! I will definitely be back and looking forward to the car shows!!!!!
Pop's Place is my family's favorite. The atmosphere is cool, the people who work there are friendly and helpful, and the house sauce is phenomenal. I highly recommend Pop's to everyone.

Been here on occasion for lunch and is always good; but went today for the first time for a breakfast sandwich and it was hands down the best TEC sandwich I’ve had. A ton of meat plenty of egg all cooked perfectly. It was a job keeping the sandwich together. Incredible. Will be back.
