Wow! Above and Beyond —appropriately named— did the catering for a fundraiser at my home and they were amazing! Professional and organized. Above and beyond is the perfect name for Jill’s company because every guest and every other vendor raved how the caterer went above and beyond. We needed a kosher caterer for my daughter’s wedding in the Catskills (not easy to find). I found Jill online and went solely on the reviews. A month before the wedding my daughter moved back to the states after living in Jerusalem and we met Jill at the venue in rural upstate New York. After meeting with her in person my daughter felt comforted right away. The day of the wedding everything was flawless. The food was amazing and abundant. The service was impeccable. Honestly I could go on and on how calm and gracious Jill was the day of the event not only to all of us but to the staff and other vendors which they commented on. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL - IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ON THE PHONE TO REFUND WITHIN ALMOST 3 MONTHS LOST $10,000 DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS BUYER BEWAREIndustry standard is a refund within 30 days of an event, however this company charges high cancellation fees within 3 months (90 days). We tried calling to cancel our agreement within the 3 months, however the company was closed for 2 weeks during passover. By the time Passover was over, we had reached the 3 month limit.We tried to be accommodating and only asked for a partial refund, however Above and Beyond was unwilling to work with us. We are a young couple paying for our own wedding, and we just lost $10,000 because they would not answer the phone because of Passover.My fiance and I both work in the industry - I work in PR and Marketing and my fiance has planned numerous events for Fortune 500 companies - this cancellation policy is completely unheard of.I'm very disappointed. I just finished converting and was really looking forward to working with a kosher catering company, but I do not trust this company any longer.My fiance's family is very involved with Main Line Chabad, and I had my conversion done by the most prominent conservative Rabbi in Philadelphia, and we were recommended this caterer by the Horticultural center. we will do our best to make sure that anyone in our network doesn't make the mistake of working with Above and Beyond.

You and your team were a pleasure to work with and everything from Friday night's Shabbat dinner to Saturday brunch to the big event Saturday night was delicious. People have not stopped saying how great all the food was, and how plentiful, and how beautiful it looked. I really enjoyed working with you on all of the menus so that throughout the weekend we were able to have a variety of food and never once repeated any of the offerings! There's some debate as to whether Friday's london broil or Saturday's short ribs were the overall favorites, though I personally am partial to the red pepper soup shots, the chocolate mousse cups and the mini root beer floats.I am so grateful that when I was going to go in a different direction because of financial reasons you were willing to come back and put together a proposal that fit my catering needs and my budget. I can't imagine Shabbat and the Bar Mitzvah without your culinary offerings AND your organizational and moral support! So glad you were with us for the simcha.I will be enthusiastically recommending Above & Beyond to anyone and everyone looking for a caterer!

Above and Beyond was absolutely fabulous on our wedding day. Guests are still talking about how wonderful the food was - the shmorg, dinner, and dessert were also so delicious and beautifully presented!! Jill also acted as a day-of coordinator and everything was seamless. She worked calmly and professionally behind the scenes with all vendors to keep the day flowing. I didn’t worry about anything that day and it all worked out perfectly.We had a lounge-like vision for the party: no assigned seats, a mix of table sizes, and a buffet of tapas style plates that would get people moving around the space. Jill made this happen and it felt seamless - she was endlessly positive and full of ideas and solutions to make the event feel festive, COVID-safe, and flowing. No one ever had to wait in line for drinks - bars were plentiful and well run. My husband and I sat at a small table together which she thoughtfully prepared ahead of time with a full array of food so we actually got to eat a little that evening!I HIGHLY recommend Jill and her team and hope to attend more of her events in the future!
