Read about this place on a Facebook hotdog group and wanted to give it a shot. Service was great and the the deep, fried dogs, didn't disappoint. Fries were solid too. Only downside, clearly the Dumont middle schoolers get out for lunch. This group of banchee boys were loud and foul mouthed - would make drunken pirates blush. I recommend going around 1 during the week to avoid this crowd.
There is a reason why Jolly Nick's in Dumont has a place among the top hot dog establishments in New Jersey, and it comes across literally the instant you walk in the door, as you are given a most friendly greeting. The staff are among the most pleasant and accommodating people I have encountered, with most amicable dispositions.

Great hotdogs at a fair price; cash only and no atm inside. Docking one star cause twice in the last year I drove 20 minutes and the store was either closed or opened later than the posted times - just a hand written note on the door.
