I've been here a number of time over several years. Went recently and seems like new ownership. Everything was great! Better than before which was ok.

Delicious and staff are very sweet & friendly. My husband and I come here during their lunch which we feel bad and they’re never rude about it. happy that they are open at 3 since it’s really the only time we have once a week!

This is a hidden gem. Some of the best special rolls I’ve ever had (definitely recommend the Fatty Shrimp Roll) with very decent pricing and the service is always good. The sweetest lady works there and is always very welcoming.
If you want a good, affordable, go-to sushi spot this is the place. Trust.

Fantastic sushi! Lived in dumont my whole life but always ordered from Well Being. Decided to try Kyoto tonight and I'm so glad I did and will be returning! Three rolls for only $15! I was expecting small rolls for this deal, but i was very pleasantly surprised by the amount of food. Super fresh and good quality.

The food is getting progressively worse and prices are going up. They used to give you complementary soup or salad now there is none.

Extremely poor service. The representative on the phone was not helpful. I was placing a large order requesting minimal assistance and was given no help at all. Terrible customer service. There are other providers that will gladly assist you without attitude. I would not order from here

I called in to order and all i said to the guy was “hello i want to pick up, give me a sec” and i was legit going to take up 5 seconds and the person in the phone said to me “well can you call us back when you are ready we have OTHER PEOPLE” like if my business doesn’t matter. I understand where he was coming from to an extent but if i was taking up to a minute then you can say that. But honestly food is ok anytime i order but that experience just made me furious

I love this place so much! I don’t normally dine in, but I normally order the party platter -
And the sushi is always fresh. This place is my go to and I honestly order at least 1x per week.

*Beware! They change the prices on you as they please!
I ordered takeout directly via their website on a Tuesday at around noon. I had the 3 roll lunch special with a spider roll, chicken tempura roll, and crab roll. I was excited to see a spider roll on this list because you never see it. But I was quickly disappointed when I saw it was mostly just tempura batter. The chicken tasted better than it looked. The crab was just chunks of imitation crab meat. I know it’s imitation but I thought they would at least chop it up before rolling it up, and at least make it look more appealing. All pretty disappointing but I had to choose the cooked rolls since I'm pregnant. My friend had some raw rolls, which she said wasn't great either. One of the rolls she ordered was the eel avocado roll, which came fried in tempura, something I have never seen before. The lunch special came with the saddest miso soup, which had one singular morsel of tofu in it.
So here is where the price conflict comes in - when I ordered online, it said the 3 roll lunch special was $12. I decided to pay cash in person because I didn't want to enter my CC information, be charged any potential CC fees, and businesses like cash better in general. It's a win-win for everybody. My total, as placed through the order online portal (not just looking at the menu), and email confirmation was $25.59. When I got there, the guy told me it was $30. So I told him that my total said $25 online. And he said something about the menu not being updated. So I paid without argument, but looking back, I should have showed him the receipt. $12 for mediocre sushi is already more than I care to pay, but $15 and you tell me the price after the fact? Nah. I understand prices of things have gone up now, but you should update the prices and not upcharge the customer after the fact. It's false advertising. It also doesn't make sense because if I did put in my CC details and prepaid, does that mean I would have only paid the $25?
All of it is very sus. I would skip this place if I were you.
We got the sushi platter for take out, it's a good price! Nice staff.
