This used to be my favorite place to get breakfast sandwiches. They got kids making the food who have no idea what they are doing. My order gets messed up every single time. QuickCheck and Dunkin Breakfast sandwiches taste better.

Slightly better than Dunkin Donuts. Terrible bagels otherwise. This is a bagel shop only people born/raised her think is amazing. Any local bodega in NYC has better bagels than this. I recommend other spots like Bagel Pantry in Plainfield. Bagel Bazaar is also better down the road.

Unfortunately not as good as it use to be. I know the cost of everything has gone up but that shouldn't mean the quality goes down. I would gladly pay $7, $8, or $9 for a sandwich if they could cut the pork roll thicker and get my order right.

Someone wrote back to my review of Dunellen bagel. It was noon when I bought my unfresh hard as a rock bagels. We couldn’t even eat them. Shouldn’t they be fresh all day?

I got a plain bagel that was completely hard. It was barely edible. It was around noon, but should it really matter when the bagel was purchased? Shouldn’t they be fresh all day?

Used to have the best bagels. They changed their recipe several years ago, and they are not the same. Still very good, and still reasonably priced.
Food is pretty good but the problem is with the phone service. Many times throughout the day the phone is shut off or it just rings out even though they’re not busy.
