Man this was THE place to go since 7th grade back in 1999. When I was in the service that was one of the 1st stops coming back home. It is just bad now, like real bad. They used to have a line wrapping the block on the weekends but would STILL answer the phone. Called twice on the way there this morning, no answer, get there, 4 girls crowding the grill just talking. Grill only fits 1 to 2 people, so 2 of them were just standing there. Phones ringing off the hook, all 4 of them ignored it. There was only 1 other customer in the store with me. Didn't matter they ignored the phone, now I see why my calls were ignored, i gave the benefit of the doubt that they were crazy busy. Nope. Then one girl disappeared to a side table to go on TikTok. People outside said this is common place now, no customer service and they dont answer the phone. Sucks because noone else makes bagels as good as these. May want to check who youre hiring man, the twin brothers that have worked there since I was a kid weren't there, and it shows. They were rock solid and kept the line down.

I never used to come here until last year. A wonderful local joint for great breakfast. I usually come on the weekends since they close around 1pmish. My go to is the Big Breakfast. Pay in cash and save. Support your local business!
Delicious food and great service. Never had a bad time here. There’s seating outside if you prefer to eat there. The coffee is good, too! It’s from Law Coffee. A business that actually got started in Dunellen!

I was ignored and had to wait 18 minutes!! for a toasted bagel with cream cheese and the place was super slow. The cream cheese was sour and the bagel was very underwhelming. Disappointed.

This used to be my favorite place to get breakfast sandwiches. They got kids making the food who have no idea what they are doing. My order gets messed up every single time. QuickCheck and Dunkin Breakfast sandwiches taste better.

Slightly better than Dunkin Donuts. Terrible bagels otherwise. This is a bagel shop only people born/raised her think is amazing. Any local bodega in NYC has better bagels than this. I recommend other spots like Bagel Pantry in Plainfield. Bagel Bazaar is also better down the road.

Unfortunately not as good as it use to be. I know the cost of everything has gone up but that shouldn't mean the quality goes down. I would gladly pay $7, $8, or $9 for a sandwich if they could cut the pork roll thicker and get my order right.

Someone wrote back to my review of Dunellen bagel. It was noon when I bought my unfresh hard as a rock bagels. We couldn’t even eat them. Shouldn’t they be fresh all day?
