Hotdog was very good, got the original Texas weiner. Place was very busy with only 1 server. She was trying her best but was overwhelmed. Atmosphere was loud and crowded. Well worth the trip for the weiner!!

So I reviewed J&G many years ago, but never went into the particulars of why I rated them 5 stars. First, the family atmosphere of the establishment. The staff is friendly and super attentive when I've dined inside. Second, the quality of the food is second to none. I've eaten here for 45 years and it is always the best. Lastly, I had my last meal from J&G at my childhood home (before selling). They made it memorable with the BEST TEXAS WEINERS IN THE TRI-STATE! Thank you for being the best!!

Cute lil place. Got the hot dog (yummy) with mustard, onions, and chili sauce. The chili had a kick which I appreciate. 5☆, would order again. Ordered fries with mozza chz and gravy... fries were fries, they weren't salted which is OK but the gravy lacked any sort of seasoning. It tasted like nothing (It tasted like the cardboard packaging) ((salt is ur best friend)) The mozzarella saved the bland fries and bland gravy. Is it gravy? Can you call it gravy? Got it to go, normally I ask for more gravy but I'm glad I didn't. Wouldn't get it again.

I use to come here as a kid back in the 70's and 80's came back in 2017 and now in Dec. 2024 and they still the same. Damn good hot dogs, service was great and atmosphere was very pleasant, and the price was even better. 2 dogs with everything and an order of fries, $10.88. Even found parking for my semi truck. Keep up the good work guys...
