I can't say enough about A&J! The flavors are so intricate and comforting and also consistent year after year. I love that you're automatically greeted with a fresh pot of tea and you can order anything to your desired spice level. Everything I've had there is delicious but the fried rice, soup dumplings, noodles and various soups are amazing. If you're looking for a great Taiwanese restaurant frequented by Taiwanese people, this is it!

Good selection of authentic Taiwanese dishes. We have eaten here countless times. The favorites are: chicken fried rice, chicken chop rice, braised pork rice, cold shredded dry noodles, kelp sprouts, pickled cabbage fried rice cake, beef noodles, cold noodles, and various Plant stir-fries.
Food is ok, 6 out of 10 I would say. But the service is bad, not attentive at all. Food portion is quite small. A few suggestions for the management: #1, change the side dish plates to a proper size, so the waiters don’t stick their fingers in the food. #2, Stop asking every table every time that you charge 3% of credit card fees, you can just put up a notice at the front door. #3, Having the employees wearing some sort of uniform that can be differentiated from the customers, so we can actually turn to someone for help when needed.
