Absolutely amazing. I reserved for a party of 6 to celebrate my husband's birthday. Very friendly hosts, and server. All the food came out in the appropriate order and hot. Coffee and cappichino was freshly made to order. Will return to this restaurant many many many more times.

The best part of this "dinning experience " is the BYOB option..for many it will help camouflage the lack of taste in the food preparation...stay away from the seafood combo...very tough calamari, minuscule baby scallops, 1or 2 bland shrimp, a clam or 2 and the smallest lobster tail I've ever seen in my life...a scoop of white rice and a few mixed vegetable were "added"..but the water was fine as well as the marinara sauce on my wife's grilled chicken..the chicken itself tolerable at best...I read good reviews on this place and my wife came here with her girlfriends and enjoyed the meal...my guess it was the wine talking..won't be back...lots of better places in the area...

Whoever gave this place a bad review is a fool. You must not be Italian. This place has great food. The owner is very kind and the atmosphere is great. I would go here any time over most of the other places in morris county. This is a true gem. I have been coming here since I was a kid. The food is just as great as I remember maybe even better.

Went to this restaurant this past weekend for birthday party. The place is outdated and the service was poor. One of the guests was late and they made us wait before they served anything. There was water on the table and it took one of the guests to ask them if they would please offer something other than water to drink after 20 minutes. When the bread finally came out it was stale, the salad was brown around the edges, the cold antipasto was made up a thick slices of salami and ham that you could have gotten from the grocery store and pickled veggies from a jar. The hot antipasto was subpar too, three pieces of calamari were soggy. The next course was penne with vodka sauce which tasted like ketchup and cream. I couldn't even eat it. I ordered the eggplant which would have been okay if they hadn't piled on the very thick tomato sauce which was the consistency of tomato paste. I don't understand how this restaurant has gotten anything more than a two-star rating. Being Italian, I am a little more critical but I haven't had a bad dinner like that in years. So either they had a horrendous day or it was taken over by somebody new. That is the only way I can explain the good reviews. Sorry it's such a bad review but I know my friend paid a good buck for all of us to be there and it was truly disappointing.

Al was amazing. Food is always delicious & consistent and always makes feel like family!!Vegetarian options: Made to order.
To start the place looks closed with all the paper covering the windows and it's below a cheap motel. Once inside the place looks just as bad with the old, terrible decor. We were a party of 6, three of us didn't care for the food which was flavorless and would not go back. The waiter was a clown and had a dry sense of humor and thought he was funny but in fact he was rude. My friend loves the place because it's a BYOB and the prices are cheap. You get what you pay for.

A dinner that should be around an hour to an hour and a half went over 2 hours all because there was absolutely no staff. No one came to take our order and when they did, we didn't see them again until we were begging for our check to whoever we were able to flag down. They didn't have anyone to refill the water glasses so once we finished, we didn't get anymore water. There was no one to ask! It was a valentine's day full of waiting.... and waiting..... and some more waiting. I would have liked to go out after dinner but by the time we were able to get out of there it was so late! Go here if you have lots of time to do so. The food was okay. The calamari was chewy. I have actually gotten better at some way cheaper places. The connoli was good so that was nice. A lot of reviews raved about the service, I wish I saw some of that.
