Only good thing about this place was appetizer. Our waiter was on his phone all the time. There is a reason these franchise places going down the drain

Let me start this review by sharing that not only have I been a server, but I was also raised by a single mother who has always worked in the restaurant industry and is currently a manager at a five star fine dining steak house, so I offer nothing but grace when dining out and have never experienced anything like this before.
My husband, myself and our 4 children arrived just after 9 on Friday night. We were sat next to a 6 top of teenagers that were screaming and singing so loudly we could barely hear ourselves across the table, and this noise level continued until they left. While we were placing our drink orders, a large pizza delivery arrived to the restaurant and our server happily shared that this was for a pizza party celebrating good ratings over the last month. We congratulated the server, ordered our drinks, an appetizer, and kids meals for our 2 youngest children. At this point, our server disappeared from the floor, as did every other employee, so it seemed. When a runner brought our drinks, our 2 oldest children were given kids cups. When we explained they were not ordering kids meals we were told we would have to speak with our server, which would have been fine if we had seen him. The kids meals and appetizers were also dropped by a runner, with no appetizer plates, leaving us to eat off napkins. 25 minutes later, when our server finally reappeared on the floor, my husband had to flag him down to correct the drinks and place the rest of our food orders. By then, our youngest was already done with his meal. We waited as patiently as possible for our food to arrive, but were already tired and frustrated. I did not receive the upgrade on one of my sides, which I wasn't going to press, but we also had not enough silverware, 3 empty cups, 2 undercooked burgers, an under cooked steak, and my oldest asked for a side of mayo that never came so she never even touched her food. After another 15 minutes of waiting for service and our kids complaining they were tired because it was now after 10:30, we decided enough was enough and we wanted to go home. We got up and asked to speak with the manager. We explained we were unhappy and just wanted to leave. We did not pay as we left full plates barely touched. Two weeks ago we dined at the Mount Olive Chili's and had a wonderful experience, spent almost $230 including a $40 tip to the phenomenal waitress we had. This was such a disappointing experience. We won't be back.

Car was in a hit and run outside of this location. Unfortunate for me, this location doesn’t have cameras in the parking lot. Park here at your own risk!

Terrible service!!! We arrived at 4:02 pm for dinner, te restaurant was almost empty and still they never took our order.
We waited for more than 30 minutes until we decided to leave and as if that weren't enough, one of the 6 waiters on duty (who was resting) left us with a "good night".
Never coming back again!!!

Once we arrived, the host was very unpleasant she didn't greet or have any acknowledgment to the customers. She walked us to our table in silence and just left annoyed. That gave us a bad taste and we just left. The last experience was just as bad, and today we wanted to give it another chance, but never again will we eat at Chili's.

Mediocre food at best. Service was ok but our some of our order came out wrong. Our whole party's food got cold while we waited for the correction.
I think it's expensive for the quality of food that you get. I wouldn't rush to go back.

This is my third time eating at Chili’s, and each time, the food is unbearably salty, especially the Nashville Hot Mozz and Nashville Hot Chicken Crispers. During my last visit, I was not very happy with how the waitress was sweeping right under my chair while I was eating. That is considered highly rude in my culture. Second, another waitress asked if she could take my entrée away while I was still chewing my food and had a fork in hand. If they wanted me to leave, they could have just said so.

So I went to East Hanover Chili’s this past Friday the 11th. first we had to wait over 20 minutes to get our Drinks. Then I had to return beer, because it was Flat. The waitress knew the beer was flat, and I’m thinking if you knew why would you bring me a Flat beer Draft. So I exchanged my beer to a bottle beer. We placed our order and also said a Coke or Pepsi also. Received our food no Coke or Pepsi. Waitress said I never ordered a coke/pepsi, and I looked at the small kiosk that we had at our table and it shows on my bill that I did ordered a soda. Through out the time we were there waitress gave me an attitude and she spent her whole time on the phone. Blaming others for not bringing drinks on time and blaming me for not saying I didn’t
Ordered a soda. Look GET OFF YOUR PHONE and do your job. There was only 3 tables to be served and I wouldn’t want to be there on a busy nite. I used to love this Chili’s, but for now on I will go to the one at Mt. Olive. I will no longer do business at this establishment

Let me start by saying I have been to multiple Chili’s in New Jersey, this is by far the worst location I have been to. I came here to have a nice dinner. Not only was the food not tasteful, but the service was poor. My server did not satisfy me what so ever, and hardly provided for me. The servers are constantly on their phone and not paying attention to their customers needs. I have seen the lack of support and communication from the managers and have received food that is almost not edible. I can’t say this enough, DO NOT come here!! I will never come here again and I hope this place will be shut down soon. If you can’t manage to keep a store straight, don’t go into the business at all.

My family and I came for dinner for a family member birthday... we were a large party.. the waitress Loretta was a nice, kind young lady who was attentive and awesome at her job...however, we were a large group, and she needed additional assistance. She was only given one assistant. Some appetizers weren't given until dinner was served, so some of us were just waiting for food for some time. When I received my entree, it was room temperature. I wanted it hotter but didn't return it because I didn't want an additional delay.
