I don't know what Costco's problem is, but I just want for the first time in my life, and it's the last time I'll be there the service was awful. It was nasty. All the cash registers were nasty. You guys are selling food as poisonous, with bugs that's a safety hazard, My dad is lawyer and I am friends with the police officer, so I can literally sue you guys. And they were not clear what is the name of know which card to pay. We didn't even know that you had to pay of a visa card. The selection was awful. There were no signs in the isles. The value was awful. If you're looking for a store that sells Bad food and bad customer service that this store is for you!!!!!!! my mom works so hard and you guys don't even care. This is the worst shopping experience, I've had in my entire life!! If your name is not even on the card, they won't even except it. That is so stupid. This experience was the worst. I thought Costco will be better than this and I thought Costco was safe but I guess not. If anyone's looking for a bad store to shop at 10 this is the store for you.

Someone posted this Costco is checking id's at checkout accusing corporate of being greedy. We are traveling from Michigan. They are checking id's there also. It isn't corporate greed. When you sign up for the annual membership, you are agreeing to 2 cards per household. They lose a ton of money from people giving non-members their cards to use. Membership is inexpensive! I think it's more people abusing the system, not corporate greed! If you don't want to pay the annual fee, shop somewhere else.

April 5, 2023: looks like this Costco has new orders from corporate to check your membership card when you go to check out. If your name is not on the card, they turn you away and give you a very hard time. Looks like corporate just wants more membership dollars even though the card belongs to your husband or wife. They've never done this previously. Looks like corporate is just getting really money hungry in this poor economy and the normal working people suffer as always. I am slowly becoming less and less of a fan of Costco.

I own tires from Costco , they are great value --and rely on their technicians and service besides ---today I had an issue with my Tire Pressure Management (TPM) gauge ---Anthony at the Livingston Costco tire center helped me --provided suggestions and tips for inflating my tires --all at NO CHARGE --appreciate his time and courteous, pleasant manner !!!

This costco is very nice. Obviously spacious inside and the crowd of people are more respectful than the usual crowd of Costco customers (probably because of the area). They even have a pizza parlor inside

Thank god Costco food testing is back!! With that said, I'm a frequent shopper at this Costco location. Nothing to complain about. It's clean and well stocked just like any other locations of Costco in jersey. Finding parking can be hectic, because people, me included, around this area have no patience whatsoever. ‍

So, this is a post where I have to vent and I apologize in advance if it becomes a long post! We ordered a dryer and washer from Costco, trying to take advantage of the Black Friday Sale, because I knew that my washing machine won't make it much longer. As if jinxed, my washer died a week ago. So, happy me, the delivery was confirmed for today. We made sure that everything was unhooked and that the delivery would go smoothly by clearing out the path in our basement. Good news: they guys arrived much earlier than anticipated. Bad news: the washing machine was totally damaged. As it was a "combo order", they took the fully functional dryer and the two storage pedestals, too. We were on the phone with CC for almost an hour. The CCR was a really nice woman, but in the end, she couldn't solve the problem. Earliest replacement date: Dec. 28 ??? The only thing that is really missing is the washing machine! It's just a system problem of reassigning a washing machine to our already "delivered" dryer and the pedestals. We checked the webpage and we could order the same machine and dryer with a delivery date of Dec. 9!! So, no solution yet. We need to wait till Monday for a call from their Resolution Team as the CCR couldn't just place the order we found on their webpage . So much to customer care, customers first etc. I feel sorry for the CCR and her limited authorization, but in the end, we are screwed. It will be the first time in my life that I have to use a Laundromat facility. The only positive takeaway from this debacle as I will experience something new. Happy Holidays !

I love Costco!! 5/5 the best store! Yummy croissants and lots of good frozen food. Also this is the only place I like hot dogs.

It's so nice to see that the crowds have thinned out after the holidays. Their usual bargains are still to be found, and it's great to be able to walk around to find the newer items. Employees are helpful, and go out of their way to make the shopping experience pleasant. Every employee was properly masked - thank you for caring about your customers and community!!! Costco is also one of the few places where they still sanitize the carts and offer sanitizer upon entering.

The Optical Department is very good. Evelyn Santiago, the employee that help me, is one of the rare breed of people who is smart, fast, efficient, patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. She would be a big asset to any company.

i was in the warehouse this afternoon, before 1pm. I made my purchase and then wanted to order a chicken bake to bring back to work, after a very long wait on line, with just another customer and I, the clerk was filling the hot dog tray, as I watched she was also wiping her nose on the same gloved hand she was preparing the hot dogs, taking cash and so on. So I left in complete discuss. please people be aware.

Covid had the line around the building but now is open to as many people need to come in. They have a mask policy, which is good, but people still tend to bunch up inside. A lot of things like toilet paper or Bounty tend to still be in irregular supply, while things like gloves are not in supply, yet. Some items available only online.

While the place is good during these times it sucks to go so don't bother too long wait and feels chaotic shop online

The optical / vision center here sucks. The service is incredibly slow and there's no rhyme or reason for the order in which people are helped. The optometrist here is wonderful and I'm sure is 90% of how they stay in business.

Great Costco, horrible staff. As a loyal Costco fan - I just had to review this place to share with those interested and management (assuming they are open to customer feedback at this location.) As far as a Costco goes, this place is great. Great seasonal items and localized items to the cultures in the area. Where this specific Costco earns 1 star is when it comes to its staff. They are just rude and horrible. Not helpful - feel like they are doing you a favor (hello, my purchases pay your salary.) Many times when paying out, waiting to leave, or needing to return something - the staff at this location continues to emphasize that customers come 2nd. So often they prioritize their own conversations or needs - some should not be in front of customers - as they are on duty. I get it - it is NJ - I expect some rudeness - but Costco should not a good name at risk for many of the people who work there. Add that the parking lot is filled with cluless people who drive over spaces, just shy of causing accidents - avoid this specific Costco - if you can. Disappointying
