Yes, this place brings back old, fond memories, and their food was always fresh, top-notch and delicious. Not too expensive either for the area! Much like a previous review before mine, there's a sign in the window to vacate the premises. Not looking good. It looks like they're closed permanently, and if you call, the phone just disconnects immediately without even ringing once. Definitely not a good sign. Sad to see them go. :(

The BEST!!! Tea, noodles, friendly service, and excellent food. Thank you.

Worst dinning experience ever, from service to food. Server didn’t bring water, never checked on you. The food was salty, even half cold. When you eat the food you know it wasn’t being prepared with care - everything was just got mixed together with some brown sauce, the only flavor you taste is salt. Would not recommend to anyone! What’s most embarrassing is that the server ran after us asking for more tips!! Did they not understand that amount of tips reflect the service they provide? Honestly, if you can, avoid this place like a plague!

My favorite Chinese restaurant food wise. Since moving from NJ it's one of my favorite restaurants to revisit each trip to NJ.

The food is top-notch. Some of the best pan-fried noodles, fried rice which actually has egg in it, and chicken with cashews I've ever had. The fried dumplings are also a standout. Very nice staff as well. Prices are a little high

Food is great and more than makes up for the dirty and worn floors. Could do something about the major sunlight exposure too though that might just be me. Kinda expensive too.

Knives Out! This place has been closed for quite sometime. So when it reopens you want to check it out. What a pleasant surprise! The food, service and atmosphere was on point all night. Each dish was cooked to perfection, coconut shrimp was to die for but the peeking duck took the gold. Prepared table side and fresh as possible. Well done and looking forward to returning next weekend

Ok.. I get it.. mr. chu isn't much to look at on the outside.. inside is spacious, and decor is typical of Chinese restaurants. But don't let looks fool you. The food is top-notch and affordable. One of our go-to favorites, and I literally pass 10 other Chinese restaurants just to dine here. There is a second menu, a Chinese menu, which has numerous other dishes that are not as popular in American Chinese cuisine. As authentic as you can get in this area.
