Sakana Sushi & Japanese Cuisine

Food was okay and fish did not taste very fresh. I was very disappointed to be told that I could not order sashimi for the all you can eat. So I order rolls and removed some of the rice to avoid eating too many carbs. I was approached several times by staff that I would be charged extra because I didn’t eat all the rice. It was quite frustrating to be watched and criticized during my meal. Then of course they charged us extra because I didn’t eat my rice. Wow, that was an awful experience. So if you want to eat somewhere where wait staff are constantly criticizing you and reminding you that they are charging you extra, go ahead and visit the restaurant. Poor service and awful experience.

Tracey at the front desk is SO disrespectful!!

She threatens to band customers and says “I will call the cops on you”… this is not even her restaurant. She’s just works there.

She’s said the manager IVY will listen to whatever she says so it doesn’t matter what the customer thinks.

Great service, delicious sushi!

We didn’t finish THREE pieces of sushi and Traci changed us $10 (more than the cost of a roll)
We go there once a week for the past 10 years.
They Just Hired a new girl Tracy who is at the front desk. She is the reason no one wants to come to this restaurant anymore. She speaks to all the staff about the customers in Chinese (we have this on video) WORSE ADDITION TO THIS PLACE. Be careful of Tracy, she will lie and sneakily charge you. I told her to have the owner call me and I still haven’t gotten a call. Imagine loosing a customer of 10 years over $5, thanks to your new hire.

Not all you can eat. There is a. Limit of 10x Sashimi per person.

Lovely place, great service except for the one lady that moves quick but gets plates/utensils without permission and ruins your meal and messed up our billing due to moving too fast. They have an eat-all-you-can scheme going on which i see it is worth it. But we went for the regular ordering. Restroom is clean, smells good and spacious. Aesthetically pleasing. Spacing between tables are spacious. Al fresco dining at summer. Ample of parking space. High chair seen. Koala care at restroom. See images for reference.

All seafood meat are not fresh, except salmon. Sushi rice tasted cold stiff and old. Avocado salad is kind of ok except that there are a couple of rotten pieces of veggies in there. They ruin salmon mango roll with Thai egg roll dipping sauce by pouring on top of it and claimed this sauce as chef sauce. Come on this is Thai grill chicken sauce or fried egg roll sauce. Service is ok but some of staffs don't know how to make clear communication. I will not go back anymore.

Literally the best place in the world if I could, I would come here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a snack and get there all you can eat menu for each course. This place is my favorite place on earth and I literally want to name my kids after the sushi they have or just have their middle names be sakana. I come here all the time and it is always amazing. I’ve never been disappointed here.

I enjoyed this place for their soups, but the limited sashimi was a big disappointment. I’ve never been to an AYCE spot that restricts sashimi before, it was frustrating. Fortunately, there’s another place just 2.5 miles away that doesn’t limit sashimi.
