We had a party of 9 and planned on going to Tops Diner before a concert at Prudential Center on Valentine's Day. They weren't taking reservations and when we got there, the wait time was going to be close to 2 hours, time we did not have. A quick internet search brought us to Pic-Nic. My husband called and spoke to the owner, I believe his name was John, and explained our situation and that we had 2 disabled people in our party. He made sure we had a parking spot and sat us right away. Needless to say, the food and service were excellent. Will definitely be back

My husband and I come here one or twice every quarter. Our go to are: clams casino and fried calamari (apps). The churrasco is a miss or hit. First time, it was great along with the baked potato. Today, ehhhhh a bit chewy and potato lacked flavor. Same with chicken pasta dish, it was delicious. Second time around it was just not it!
On the other hand, the mariscada or paella is always good. Carlos is amazing! The guys appear serious, but are nice.

I can’t comment on the food because we never got that far. The service was terrible. We were seated at a table, and I politely asked for a booth instead. I was told to wait, which was fine—but then I waited over 30 minutes while they tried to seat me at a table twice again. What made it worse is that we were there for over 1 hour, and during that entire time no new guests were seated in the booth tables. There were clearly open booths, but the hostess said they were “for VIP.” The whole interaction felt dismissive and poorly handled. Whether it was miscommunication or just bad attitude, the experience was frustrating enough that it ruined the visit before it even started.
After so many years, I was excited to buy a combo meal, but it was a huge disappointment to get home and find the meat burnt and dry, and on top of that there was a hair in my order 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

This is the best upscale Portuguese restaurant I've been to and the food and the service is A+. The parking is a little tricky because it's limited so I would recommend to arrive in one car.
