Such a nice place! Came for late-night dinner, food was very good as was the service! Friendly, attentive. The serving size was plenty enough, although I could've eaten more it was that good! Chicken Alfredo very good, as was yhe chicken parm!! Bring your own wine seemed to be the trend, older crowd 50+ at the time, large groups having a wonderful time meant this was a friendly & classy place for the experienced patron!

Have been going here for years Loved it but went last night and they had booked 90% of restaurant to a Bocce Ball banquet. They were extremely loud, we could not talk to each other. Server didn’t come to us as they thought we were part of banquet. Had to ask for everything. If you are going to do that close the whole place to normal guests. Then they had announcements with everyone yelling and cheering. It’s a shame we have always enjoyed but will not be back.

I've not been in years and nice to say the food is still excellent! Enjoyed their chicken parmigiana! Not many restaurants serve bread or salad with dinner anymore so this was nice to see. My husband loves his Bolognese! Nice bowl of pasta served. Took dessert home. Their Italian Cheesecake is simply the best. Love the hint of lemon in it. Cannoli very good too! We'll be back! Highly recommend! Service excellent!

No stars.well ok maybe a half a star for service. How this place got 3 and half stars can only be because they were given from family members. From the rubber bands they called fried calamari to ziti's you can eat with a straw. They seem to have an open door policy because they leave the front and side doors opened without any kind of screening so once my wife's linguine and clams dish arrived so did the flies. Besides the clams were over cooked as well. I've had better meals at Olive Garden. Now as for ambiance, there much of that either. If you like cafeteria style atmosphere you'll love this place.

We are visting family here in Ocean NJ. We were delighted with our meals. My spinish lasagna was very good, the marinade sauce danced on my taste buds it was so delightful. The lasagna noodles were cooked to perfection, not too overcooked and not too undercook. It was just excellent. My husband's veal parmesan he's told me was beyond anything he had eaten in a long time. The mushrooms were tantalizing. The sauce was breathtakingly,wonderfully, delightfully good. Yes we would definitely go here again and I highly recommend it. The prices are right in line, the service was great, she was pleasant, she asked if we wanted more, offered us dessert. Couldn't ask for a better place to eat,it's casual dress very clean and quiet. Go check it out, I'm sure you'll agree with me.

My family frequents Illianos on a regular basis. It is our favorite go to restaurant. The food is always delicious and plentiful. I recommend Illianos to all my friends and everyone goes back. The owner is a great guy who takes pride in the meals he serves. The service is always impeccable. There are only 5 stars or I would rate it even higher. I look forward to my next visit.PS. His deep dish pizza is outstanding and this comes from a guy who grew up in Brooklyn pizzerias.Tom C

I was there in November and forgot to post a review. The food is absolutely delicious! I ordered gnocchis (I am very picky with them because I grew up with a mom that makes them from scratch) and I have to say, they were deeeeelicious! Their bread is wonderful. It’s homemade! Love this place! It’s a hidden gem!
